⚠️ Beware of Fake Omega Boxes ⚠️
I’d like to alert fellow collectors about the increasing number of counterfeit Omega boxes circulating on the market. These replicas—often originating from Southeast Asia—are frequently found on eBay and other online platforms.
If you’re looking to buy, take the time to verify authenticity and do your homework before committing. Stay safe and buy smart! by @flqt9000

Reference 166.068 with perfect yellow dial commonly referred ad “banana” dial. Cherry on the top a very rare yellow Seamaster vintage box made of bakelite. While most papercard cube boxes were engraved “SWISS MADE” on the bottom, my assumption on these bakelite boxes is that they were made in Italy by De Marchi, the official italian Omega agent during the 70s.

This particular example was delivered in France in 1971. The bracelet is a 1166 which I only observed in tungsten references
