@valenciagaygames2026 was nothing short of magical. Sports are for all. I remember how important soccer was to me growing up and how quickly I gave it up because I thought it was incompatible with me being gay.

I feel nothing but gratitude for the experience of competing on an international stage surrounded by other passionate LGBTQ athletes who not only proved that they belong in sports, but also excel in them.

In particular, I'm immensely proud of @flstorm.fc for announcing our presence on this stage loudly and proudly. We might not have taken home a medal but every team knew the world class performances we were capable of. Top 5 gay soccer team in the world now btw.

Sad that it will be another 4 years till I get another chance to play at the gay games but grateful that this will always be a part of my life moving forward ♥️. taken in Valencia, España by @flstorm.fc

Some partnerships are built on business. Others are built on purpose.

As Florida Storm FC represents our community at the Gay Games in Valencia, Spain, The West End Lounge is proud to stand beside them as a community partner whose commitment extends far beyond our doors.

Supporting Florida Storm FC is about more than sponsoring a team. It is about investing in people, celebrating inclusion, and helping showcase the strength, diversity, and spirit of our community on a global stage.

At The West End Lounge, we believe our impact should reach beyond the bar and into the world. Every partnership is an opportunity to uplift others, create meaningful connections, and demonstrate that businesses can play an important role in building stronger communities.

To the athletes of Florida Storm FC, thank you for representing South Florida with pride, courage, and heart. We are honored to be part of your journey and look forward to cheering you on every step of the way.

Community is not defined by where we gather. It is defined by how we show up for one another.
