People who get it and look at hardcore the same way you do can be found literally anywhere on this god forsaken piece of lump. It’s easy to stick with what you already know (and I’m no better), but there’s sooo much good stuff just floating around out there that deserves more attention.

Swipe to listen to three of the coolest bands we laid our eyes and ears on during the @existencehc ’Go To Asia’ tour in Oct/Nov ➡️➡️➡️

EXISTENCE x FLUBBER ’GO TO ASIA’ TOUR MONTAGE
Six evil shamans on the road/in the air for 16 days in Japan, China, Philippines, Indonesia and Singapore. From Stockholm to halfway around the world and back again, all captured in high-definition video. Enjoy!

A huge thank you to Brightside Booking, Blacklisted Productions and everyone involved in one way or another.

When Bulls Shitt was unexpectedly offered a spot at FYA Fest 2024 and started planning an accompanying east coast tour, big things were put into motion. Historically, only a handful of Swedish hardcore bands have ever toured the US. Seeing Bulls Shitt, @north_cheese’s solo project with a stupid name and no social media presence whatsoever, being added to that list was huge.

A once in a lifetime opportunity for the band — but also for us: a small group of Bulls Shitt enthusiasts, devoted enough to follow them into the unknown. So we booked flights, rented a car and joined the tour up until its climactic finale at FYA Fest. Here’s how it all went down.

TLDR; 🐂💩🇺🇸👍

⚡️FLUBBER FM — The hardcore hit zone ⚡️
When talking about hardcore (current hardcore in particular), we usually go on about our favorite 7-inches and band’s best records. But which individual songs are actually the Firestorms, Burning Fights and Set It Offs of this generation? Flubber FM is here to highlight the hardcore songs with the biggest smash hit potential — and hopefully Headbanger’s Ball will rise from the grave to give them the attention they deserve. Remember that when the fat checks start rolig in.

If you want to go next, reach out to me in a DM! All songs go up on the Flubber FM Spotify playlist too, check it out in bio. #flubberzine #flubberfm by @flubberzine

INTERVIEW #2, 2023: KILLING FROST.
Sadness is a dish best served deep-frozen. Killing Frost from Finland does everything right when merging all that is hard and cool as hell with the charisma of an emotional breakdown. It’s dirty, crushing and epic at the same time. If you need a soundtrack to waiting on the bus after going to work in the dark and leaving work in the dark, dropping your bag of groceries in a puddle of snow slush and getting a text saying that your partner is breaking up with you — look no further.
This is a long read but also a very enjoyable one. Here he is, Finnish hardcore’s: Niko Vilkman. #flubberzine #hardcorepunk Live photos by @eemi_kettunen by @flubberzine

Keeping Flubber strictly digital has proven itself harder than expected, as the world around us is pretty eventful after all.

When I joined @existencehc and @speedwaymusic on their European summer tour a couple of weeks back I decided to use it as an opportunity to do some kind of research. I wanted to find out what’s what when it comes to hardcore records special enough to be played over and over again into oblivion.

So, after ten days on the road, meeting people from all over Europe and convincing 124 poor souls to answer anonymously — this is the result.

Do you agree or nah? Drop your own pick as a comment here or anonymously in stories.

▶️ I made a Spotify playlist with one song from every record, and I’ll keep adding to it once more answers start dropping in. Link in biooo by @flubberzine

INTERVIEW #1, 2023: MOURNING.
UK’s Mourning has been on my radar for a few years now after touring with my friends in Existence, and while their releases have been consistently good… their newly released LP is the greatest thing since the Terminator 2 soundtrack.
They’re currently in Florida and just played yesterday’s FYA Fest aftershow with Three Knee Deep and Drain. Since conducting this interview, we also managed to book them for this year’s @aliveandwellfest in Stockholm, February 24–25. So until then, listen to ‘Disenlightenment’. And when it’s time: channel all your pain and suffering into that one moment and stage dive like a bat possessed. #flubberzine #ukhc 📷 @lowlightbaz @essexhardcorezine @matouxn by @flubberzine
