Studio studies for live events in this rare winter sunlight. Painting floral motifs on acrylic glass helps me refine colour palettes, brushwork and timing before translating them onto perfume bottles during brand activations. Such a pleasure to be invited to provide in-store calligraphy for the Swedish children’s clothing brand @newbielovers in Guildford. They were celebrating their first anniversary, and the turnout was incredible. I usually wear smart black when working at events, but this brand’s aesthetic called for something softer and more natural, which felt like a lovely change. I don’t think I’ve ever had such an adorable and captivated audience — little noses peeking over the table, watching so intently as I wrote. And the clothes… just the sweetest. Last Saturday I had the pleasure of working on behalf of the lovely Michelle from @willowrosestudio at Rituals’ flagship store on Oxford Street.
