‘Mind Rent’ is a psychological thriller created entirely with AI tools. It tells the story of a young woman who rents out unused portions of her brain to an experimental AI company for extra cash.

… But with every section she leases, she loses another piece of herself.

Her memories fade. Her identity unravels.
What’s left when your mind is no longer yours?

Our lead, Jamie Choi, doesn’t exist in the traditional sense — she’s an AI-generated actress, meticulously crafted in ChatGPT.

Her voice, her thoughts, her presence — all brought to life through a custom AI prompting method.
Every visual, every sound — including the music — was generated with AI.

Even though this was built with AI tools, this story was entirely crafted through human creativity!

This short was conceived, developed, and produced in a single night during a @MachineCinema “Gen Jam” — a collaborative sprint where human creativity and machine intelligence collide. We had a blast pushing the boundaries of what’s possible - and pushed a bit more when we got home! (Lol)
