today. 🌱

dropped off the lil ginger at his weya and weyo’s where he’s staying at “grandparents camp” for the week (😛) and then visited the og red to eat yummy foods and explore raleigh a little. crazy that when I was a senior in hs, I was going to go to nc state for biochem but last minute over the summer before I left did a dumb thing and switched out. (young, wild, and absolutely carefree daisy) obviously not too dumb or I would have never met the loml and have the beautiful family that I have now, but sofia being on the ncsu campus makes me feel some type of life-full-circle sort of way. 🥹 hopefully more exploratory adventures soon. if anyone has any fav places to visit/eat/shop in the raleigh area, please do share. (other than the art museum bc I already adore that place) 🖤

I simply cannot comprehend how fifteen years of my life with you have flown by so fast. it seems like just yesterday you were the tiny, ambitious little redhead bossing me around the playground and look at you now. you have grown into such a beautiful, intelligent, talented, humorous, and absolutely unique young woman and your papa and I are eternally proud of you and all of your amazing accomplishments. this year alone you have grown tremendously and I can slowly start to see the big girl Sofia the future holds. (pssst-she’s such a gemstone) please continue staying true to yourself and always marching to the beat of your own drum. &&& never give up on all of your amazing talents. your whole family is so proud of your creativity and HARD work. (no but 15yo me could never) 😂😊❤️😭💯🧁♓️🐟

I feel super fortunate that I have a mother in law that I can comfortably go on gals trips with and that we both thoroughly enjoy our time spent together. two lil aquarius’. I know not everyone is that lucky, but if you are, truly cherish it. 🤌😊

every time miriam and I head up to interlochen for a visit (it’s been a few times now of just us), it is always an adventure full of podcasts, thrifting, yummy foods, SNOW, coffee, sweets, ballet galore, and alllll the lazy hotel tv/film binge watchin’ and relaxin’ we want without having to answer to a n y t h i n g…other than, ya knowww, that oneeee little pestering thing. *cough* sofia *cough*. 😋 (ly girlie pop)
