What is a jet card? 🛩️🪪

An Airly Jet Card is pre-purchased flight hours on a private jet in Australia. You buy a block of 5, 10 or 25 hours, and hours are deducted only for time in the air when you fly. No annual fee. No repositioning charges. No surge pricing for booking close to travel time. The rate you lock at purchase is the rate you fly on, for 12 months, and unused hours carry over.

Booking takes 48 hours notice, sometimes less. WhatsApp, text, call, or your own login on our web app. Your chosen dates and times, not an airline’s timetable, whether that’s 2 months out or 2 days.

The fleet behind it: the Citation Mustang for short hops and regional strips, the Phenom 100 for business travel with an enclosed lavatory, and the Citation CJ2 for team and family travel with longer range. Three aircraft, one program, flying the Australian east coast from capital cities to the regional strips commercial airlines don’t service.

And the hours are yours. Business or leisure, no difference to us. With your authorisation, family, colleagues or clients can fly on your card, with or without you on board.

Private aviation without owning the jet. Buy the hours. Fly on your terms.

Find out if a jet card fits how you fly: tell us your routes and we’ll send rates within one business day. No automated sequences, no sales pressure. Register via airly.com/jet-card, the link in bio, or DM us. 📩

Most people will never own a jet. The smart ones buy a third. ✈️

Airly Fractional, explained:

What you own: a 33% share of a specific jet, based in your city. An asset. Not a subscription.

Three owners per aircraft. Not sixteen, like the US programs. Three places, then it’s full. And the whole fleet is there when the trip demands more range or more seats.

What you pay: one purchase, one annual fee, one rate per hour flown. Crew, hangar, insurance, maintenance: covered. 💳

Flying it: your dates locked in for the year. Book, fly, your ORM handles the rest. The 3am problems are ours.

And when you’re not flying, the aircraft works commercially and offsets against your fees. Not a return. Just less weight.

Three owners to a jet. Real aircraft, finite places. If ownership has been forming in the back of your mind, this is the conversation. 🔐

A member used 4.6 hours of his jet card last month without leaving the house. 🛋️

His parents flew Sydney to Kangaroo Island and back. He stayed on the couch. That’s the part of a jet card most people don’t know: with your authorisation, anyone can fly. And once members work that out, the hours start moving in ways a normal booking never could.

How the hours actually get used:

👨‍👩‍👧 Family weekend to Hamilton Island, on the same card that runs the business
❤️ The parents to Kangaroo Island, holder never left home
🤝 A team of four into Sydney and home by dinner, with 15% off the same-day return
✈️ A client flown in to meet you, because it says you value their time
💼 A leadership team sharing one card across three cities, same balance, business or leisure

The hours don’t mind which. Family, friends, colleagues, clients, a business partner in a bind. With or without you on board.

It’s your account, not your seat.

Send us your travel plans and we’ll find the right card: 5, 10 or 25 hours. DM us or hit the link in bio. 📩

Buying the jet is the cheap part. 💸

Here’s what owning alone actually costs per year, before the aircraft flies a single hour. Four line items, every year, whether it moves or not. Swipe for the numbers. 👇

✈️ Crew: two pilots plus annual recurrent sim training, roughly $300K to $500K a year in Australia. And pilots are hard to find and harder to keep right now.

🏢 Hangarage: $60K to $200K a year in a major-city precinct. Sydney capacity is tight, the space itself is getting harder to secure.

📄 Insurance: hull and liability, $60K+ a year, priced on the aircraft’s value. It scales up with the jet you bought, not down.

🔧 And everything else easily $230K+. An engine, APU or landing-gear event lands as a lump sum. Maintenance reserves alone run at a per flight hour rate before anything breaks.

Add it up: a jet clears a million a year before fuel. Before you’ve flown anywhere. That’s the real cost of owning alone. Not the jet. The operation behind it.

Or share it three ways and hand us the headache. Three owners, one aircraft, every operation managed by us, a full factory-backed maintenance schedule so the surprise invoice isn’t yours. When you’re not flying, we manage it commercially and offset your costs. 🤝

Comment the scariest thing that’s ever happened to you at a commercial airport. 🎃

The real fear is flying commercial this Halloween.

Forget the haunted houses. True horror is a 4:45am alarm, a security queue that never ends, a gate change announced in a whisper, and a middle seat between two strangers who don’t know the arm rest rule. The jump scares are free. The delays are included. 👻

This cabin? No tricks. All treat. A CJ2+, your schedule, and the only thing vanishing at midnight is the airport from your rearview.

Skip the horror show for good: a jet card locks your rate for 12 months, books with 48 hours notice, and deducts only your time in the air. No surge pricing. No surprises. Nothing lurking in the invoice. 🔒

Own a jet for 50 hours a year, and it sits idle for 99% of the time. The bad news: you still pay for everything. 💸

There are 8,760 hours in a year. You’re flying 50 of them. That’s a lot of downtime for an aircraft that bills you either way: pilots, insurance, hangar, the regulatory side. It all adds up whether the plane moves or not.

If you’ve got unlimited money to burn, probably not a big deal. If you want to be smart with it, there’s a better way. ✈️

Flying 50 to 100 hours a year isn’t jet card or charter territory, you’re flying too often. But it’s not enough for outright ownership either. The middle looks like this:

A third of a specific jet, allocated to you. You keep the ownership benefits, like depreciation, but spread the cost with two other like-minded owners we can personally vouch for. We handle the crewing, the maintenance, the regulatory side. And when the owners aren’t flying, we put the aircraft to work, and the profits help fray your ongoing costs. 🤝

Two Citation CJs available now: the CJ2+ and the CJ4. Demand is growing in certain cities, and once a jet has its three owners, it goes to a waitlist.

Bring your accountant and lawyer in early. Book a 10 minute call, link in bio. The ROI on that call alone is hard to ignore. 📩

Send this to someone who needs the reminder this week. ☁️

Be too busy climbing to worry about the commentary below.

Phenom 100 punching through the layer on climb, sunrise waiting on the other side. The noise stays under the cloud deck. Up here it’s just blue, engine hum, and the day starting properly.

A good reminder, at altitude and otherwise. Keep climbing. ✈️

You negotiated that badly for a reason. 😮‍💨

Your worst decisions are being made on travel days, and nobody’s measuring it.

The pattern: 4:45am alarm. Broken sleep. Early flight. Back-to-back meetings in a city you don’t know. Delayed flight home. Sleep research is clear on what that does: even moderate sleep loss measurably degrades judgement and reaction time.

Nobody would schedule a big decision for 6am on three hours’ sleep. Commercial travel does it for you. ✈️

And it never shows up in a performance review. It shows up in the deal negotiated slightly worse than it should have been. The meeting that didn’t land.

Businesses measure everything. Revenue per employee. Conversion. Deal velocity. Almost none of them measure how the person travelled against how the meeting went.

Ask business owners who’ve moved to private what changed, and they don’t say comfort. They say they arrive in a different state. Later departure. No forced alarm. No two hours at a gate. 🧠

How someone arrives shapes how they perform. Stop treating fatigue as a cost of doing business.

There’s a flight on your invoice you never took. Welcome to how charter pricing works. 📄

Ask any business owner how their charter invoice compared to the quote. You’ll get a pause first. It’s rarely the same figure. Often it’s not close.

The most common surprise: a repositioning or ferry leg. The cost of moving the aircraft to your departure point, then away again afterward. You’re on neither flight. You pay for both. ✈️

And that’s just the start. Broker markup, often not itemised. Peak day surcharges that appear once you’re committed. Overnight crew costs passed through. Landing and handling fees estimated first, corrected upward later.

Why it keeps happening: ad-hoc charter is quoted trip by trip, often by a broker coordinating an aircraft they don’t own. The quote has to look competitive to win. The invoice reflects what the trip actually cost. 🤷

And nobody queries it, because the numbers are already large. An extra few thousand doesn’t stand out as worth chasing. So it gets paid. Every time.

A jet card works the other way. Rate locked for 12 months because you’ve already paid. No repositioning charges within your block. No broker markup. Just your time in the air, deducted from your hours. 🔒

No invoice. Just hours off your card.
