282kms on the new bike since Sept 19th. Today I was sick and it was very windy. Good day to be a windmill I guess. #justridingmybike by @flybyu44_

Sneaking out after the sun went down today. With tonight's ride I surpassed my 2024 mileage. 2025 is still a high water mark for mileage. Still some good whether ahead. #justridingmybike by @flybyu44_

Social media can be a highlight reel of your life. In reality life can be much different. On September 5th Tina's Mom lost a battle with cancer that she had fought for over a year. We put her to rest over the weekend. Tina had cared for her during her last days and it was a very hard weekend. I snuck out early Friday morning to look for grouse, it was quiet and raining, the woods were beautiful and it was nice to get away for a few hours. We had a very nice service Saturday, Thanksgiving with family and Monday morning we celebrated my nephew's 2nd birthday.

Cycling in my collared shirt. Actually just too lazy to change after work. Nice ride to the stop sign South of town and back. #justridingmybike by @flybyu44_

This morning's ride. Kind of short as I wasn't feeling super energetic, maybe should have stayed in bed. #justridingmybike by @flybyu44_

This morning's ride, it was -1 C when I headed out. Slide #6 must be the grader operator's first day...#justridingmybike by @flybyu44_

Someone said a cougar was spotted roaming in the park today. I figured a middle age tubby guy going moderate speeds on a bike might draw it out of hiding. Even rode by the cemetery to see if it was hiding in the trees there. #cougarbait #justridingmybike by @flybyu44_

Days are shorter, so I can enjoy a nice sunrise on the drive to work. Not a horrible way to start the day. #sunrise by @flybyu44_

My fastest ride on the new bike. Beautiful night, heavy with dust from harvest. #justridingmybike by @flybyu44_

This morning's ride to the Clarkboro Ferry and back. Took a scenic route on the way back that was nasty, harden ruts and cow tracks, almost fell off three times, but made it through. #justridingmybike by @flybyu44_

It was very windy all day, but I got out for a short ride before supper. I found a piece of amber or maybe an agate. One perk of regular bikes, you find cool things when riding. I never see them on the recumbent bike. #justridingmybike by @flybyu44_
