You don’t get many days like this.

What an absolutely special day! I got a chance to take a long time client and friend out with his daughter. We’ve been on multiple outings with his son, but baseball season is upon us.

These two were a couple peas in a pod. Dad pulled in fish and she celebrated with him. She whittled her own staff in between catches. I did make one big mistake. I did not have enough snacks on the boat…. I won’t make that mistake again. by @flyfishingalabama

Y’all need to know something…

Capt. Pete here has this wonderful ability to find fish. I mean we had the slowest bite the other day and Peter still managed to pull out a 20+ inch Alabama bass!!! That’s unreal. Yall give this fishy dude some 👏👏👏

Nothing like it.

If you’re looking for a river full of diversity this is the one! Nothing but sheer beauty. The Cahaba is one of our many places we fish and it is by far one of the most stunning. Even at low pool.

Mr. Charlie with a nice Cahaba Redeye bass and an Alabama bass. They were conjured up to a @samsonebug with an @echoflyfishing glass 2wt he had recently picked up at @communityflysupply for one heck of a wrestle.

But does it get much better??

Charlie is an avid Fly Fisherman who has chased more fish than you can possibly imagine, is some of the best company you could possibly have on the boat and is beyond motivation for a good time.

Thanks for coming out with us Charlie!!

Wonderful and easy opportunity to be part of protecting one of our most beautiful natural resources here in the Great State of Alabama. Tell your local DMV when you’re updating your tag that you would like one and they’ll pull one out of the back for you!

One more from the warrior bass hunt.

Not the most orange we’ve seen, but nonetheless she was a beaut.

A day chasing warrior bass.

Trevor with @unboundangling and I took a couple hour drive the other day to see if we could find some warrior bass. We got a good tip from a friend and off we went!

The day was nothing short of exciting. We caught more warrior bass than expected and stopped at a local diner afterwards for a good lunch.

This spot is going to be added to the list of favorite places.
