Table making... it's dry fit day. Still got some glue-ups to go, then a final sand, stain and finish. Not there yet!

Site 10 on the Uxbridge Studio Tour looking lovely in the sun.
Starring my cat, a stunning staircase, and all my lovely guest artists. Oh, and I might have bought myself some gorgeous trousers.

Fly Freeman’s @flyfreesculpture unique sculptural and functional artworks constantly explore new materials and scale, pushing the horizons of her creative vision. Originally a stone carver, she has expanded to glass and wood. Her work investigates the unseen physical forces of gravity and friction; balance and tension. Her work is infused with a heartfelt sense of vulnerability and fragility, sensed through her choice of media, such as glass, and the structure of her sculptures.
Visit Fly’s studio/gallery this third weekend in September to see her thoughtful sculptural works.

Back in my studio... well I've been here for weeks, but doing cupboards and stair treads and stuff. Now it's time for some fun. Feeling all figurative for some reason.

Finishing a small stone for a much loved family member. Beautiful green slate, very small letters, lots of ache, but it's lovely to be asked to do this for him.
