Meet the Founder of Fly Girl Meetup 🚀Hey y’all I’m Brittaney Shanae’!I’ve been a fly girl since my parents gave me the freedom to dress myself. 😂Throughout the years, I’ve worked across several creative industries, and one thing has always caught my attention: women who show up fully as themselves and express who they are through their personal style.Somewhere along the way, I realized something was missing. There are so many events where we just happen to get fly, but where are the spaces where style is the reason we get together and PTSO (IYKYK)!? Where are the spaces where creativity, authenticity, and community are the main event?That’s why I created Fly Girl Meetup.Over here, we’re Super Fly Over Superficial.Style walks us in the room, but relationships are what we’re building.I’m so glad you’re here!! Rounded out Fly Girl Meetup Volume 1 chanting “Fly Girl Meetup Volume 1” with some of the Fly Girls that were in the room. We didn’t chant that for giggles, we chanted it as a declaration. We chanted it because this is the beginning of something great. We’ve created a space where women can show up just as they are. Authentic, Stylish, Free. We are more than just women who put on clothes. We express ourselves through clothes my we tell our stories through clothes.To everyone that was in the room, thank you. We thought we were gathering women who just loved style, but what happened was something way bigger than what we imagined. Real conversations were started. The girls exchanged numbers and we collaborated on how we could build together.
