Chucko ( @flyingfloou ) just broke the world record with an insane Døds from 48.7m (160ft), the biggest dive ever done in the sport 😳

Døds, or death diving, is a Norwegian sport where divers jump from extreme heights and hold a pose as long as possible before hitting the water.

He beat the previous record from Côme Girardot, who also sent an impressive 44.3m (145ft) jump.

“Can’t lie, this one knocked the wind out of me for a couple of seconds, but I’m absolutely fine and not injured.” said Chucko.

DODS WORLD RECORD 👑 48,7m | 160ft

The biggest jump of my life. Rollercoaster of emotions, from tearing up to hype and the biggest adrenaline rush I’ve ever felt. Can’t lie this one knocked the wind out of me for a couple of seconds but I’m absolutely fine and not injured.

Couldn’t have asked for a better crew, thank you so much for supporting me and making this happen. I feel so honored that those legends went out of their way to come out here and make this day unforgettable.

This was definitely the gnarliest mission I’ve ever been on, the jump itself was crazy but if you knew what it took to get to the spot and to get back out of there you would agree that the jump wasn’t the craziest thing that day. There was no service and definitely no room for error which made it even more rewarding to finally hit the 40m 🥳

Really appreciative about everyone that has been with me that day and made this possible. LEGENDS ❤️

To say the german championship was a full success would be a massive understatement. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the athletes, sponsors, organizers, media crew, safety & security crew, bergbad bückeburg but especially to every single of the 3000 people that came out to spend their saturday afternoon watching this madness ❤️
