A few weeks back, I had planed my annual trip to Lockhart,Tx/ Austin for @aclfestival 2026. This was planned months after my dad passed but also months before I really realized my mom was getting worse. I wasn't sure I should of went, being in the headspace I've been in for a while after my dad and then adding her leaving earth as well, to that has been very challenging for me. But I did, there is absolutely something special about being on the farm at @icecreamacres with @banjordan and the goats and meemawww the dog. But but j told Jordan I needed to see @lolayounggg and experience something louder then my broken heart beating. ACL DID NOT DISAPOINT. Also being around a good friend and some new beautiful people this trip was very comforting. The shrooms didnt hurt either! But hearing Lolas voice in person brought me absolute joy and even gt a emotional (onbvy if you know me), but I adore her whole story. From finding her very distinctive voice and video conceited yrs ago changed something in me. But being able to dance along with Jordan and randoms that day was pretty healing. Then we got to jam out to Killers, sofitucker, Lorde and the XX show fml special for sure. There was so many brilliant acts this year. But here was my viiew and all the smiles and laughs and also getting to hug and see Nick! Was absolutely a special trip back to the farm and the land.

Such a simple fun Halloween weekend. From dinner with the PHX friends in LA to sending the @boulevardpasadena out with a bang! Sad to loose another queer space that has been thru so much in its life as a safe space for 45yr. It will be missed.

Getting used to doing things alone has become so normal, I don't usually second guess myself over the last decade, But lately its been really starting to sink in that it is just me... I've been fine being just me to dinners, movies, travels, beers, concerts etc. But yea, LA definitely makes you feel even more isolated then other cities. I mean I basically see my friends that live here more when I visit then I have this entire almost 1 yr of working here. Its as if, if I dont go ou to a bar, t I basically don't see anyone I know. Ugh lame. Oh well, was just some thoughts I've been thinking about while I took myself out tonight to dinner.

Anwho happy Hallo-Eve putitas.

Also really miss you mom, Halloween was also one of yer favorite days. 💔🎃❤️ by @flynmonk3y

The spiral is all welded up finally. Just need to finish inner steel circle and then paint it all satin black. But first my annual music festival @aclfestival and some time on the farm with the mini goats @icecreamacres and @banjordan. Anywho the arches and ribbons on this staircase was pretty challenging because its all in place. I think its looking beautiful as ever though and elegant AF!
@themendocinohouse is truly coming together meow all around.

Its been pretty difficult to feel like I can create and put love into my builds since my mom has passed. Ever day is absolutely hard for me to want to wake up, but I do, I push, and try to show up with good intentions and not sorrow. Each day will be different for a while, but for meow, its time to finish up the arches and hand made ribbons on the spiral staircase in the guest house here in altadena. Things are slowly but surely coming to an end and my work here will be complete for meow. But the boys here always got something up their sleeve for me to do at any given time. Haha
Any who its Tuesday and today I'm feeling ok. One day at a time...

Hair haasn't been this long in 20yrs. Summer almost got me to shave my damn head. But we made it! Beard equally as long, but might be time to trim it. Hopefully I can make it thru winter and see how my hair fairs then. Its so damn CURLY! HAHA

Was given a chance once again to take some rest finally and maybe a lil bt of work for @stephensredni and Lexis up in the place that always helps me to process, think and learn to love myself, even when I'm not sure how to at times. I miss my mom, but she knows how much this place means to me and helps me to deal with darkness even to forget, if only for a moment. So with that said. ITS PRIDE IN GUERNEVILLE, what a surprise treat for the weekend. Love y'all and I'm ok to not feel ok in these times. Hr by hr and Day by day, I'll try and get back to who I need to be again.

The last few weeks back home have been absolutely harder then I could handle and yes I'm working thru it, day by day. Then or community was hit with yet another tragedy at the Venture-N in Tucson. A well known neighborhood friendly LGBTQIA venue amd home for others. We lost 2 more souls to HATE. CAMERON DAVIS CAPARA & VINCENT ANTHONY SIQUEIRO, but we will not remember them thru this violent crime, will remember them as beloved brothers and uncles and family if families. Community helpers, organizers and full of love for love of the communities. Being home for me for other reasons still hard, but when I heard the news, when PHOENIX heard the news we all showed up. Because that's who we are when we are one united. To watch @pat_os_bunkhouse_saloon @boycott_bar, @title9sportsgrill The Rock, Stacy's @thunderbirdloungephx @royalekitchenphx and almost every other small business on @curveatmelrose gather to show Tucson and Venture-N that we stand with them was healing and emotional and powerful. I don't need to live in PHX full time anymore to know that when it counts, we count in numbers for community and love and solidarity. There will always be hate, but we will never let hate take over who we choose to LOVE.
.
Thank you to everyone that helped out at all the spaces and too the time to show up.
.
Rest in PRIDE CAMERON DAVIS CAPARA AND VINCENT ANTHONY SIQUEIRO.
