What an amazing and truly eye-opening week attending the @lonepeakfilmfest as one of five Film Fellows to kick off a year of support from the festival committee to expand @thought.and.memory_film ! Can’t wait to see how an already remarkable festival can shine next year.

It was a pleasure to meet so many talented filmmakers and professionals who were all eager to share, ponder, and be immersed in film. You’re moving mountains! 👏 🏔️ 🎞️ taken in Lone Peak Film Festival by @flytyer97

Meet the 2026–27 Lone Peak Film Institute Fellows 🎬🏔️

We believe great filmmakers don’t just need an opportunity—they need community, mentorship, and the time and space to develop their voice.

The Lone Peak Film Institute Fellowship supports emerging local and Indigenous Montana filmmakers with a year of mentorship and connection. Fellows receive full sponsorship to attend our multi-day Artist Retreat during the Lone Peak Film Festival, including travel, lodging, meals, film screenings, festival events, and meaningful time with visiting filmmakers and industry mentors.

And the relationship doesn’t end when the festival does.

For the following year, fellows receive ongoing support through monthly calls and individualized mentorship as they develop their projects and move their stories toward the screen.

We’re proud to award the fellowship for a second year—and even prouder to introduce the 2026–27 cohort:

🎥 Samuel Enemy Hunter
🎥 Braeden Meyer
🎥 Tisa Cobb
🎥 Jenna Ciralli
🎥 Gus Yeager

These are five emerging filmmakers with stories to tell and visions worth investing in.

Join us in welcoming them to the Lone Peak community. We can’t wait to work alongside them at the 2026 Lone Peak Film Festival Artist Retreat later this month. by @flytyer97

I’m elated to share that I have been accepted to be part of the 2026-2027 Filmmaker Fellowship with the Lone Peak Film Festival in Big Sky!!

In addition to all expenses paid to attend the film festival this year (September 16-21st) consisting of networking and workshops, the fellowship offers a year of support from an amazing lineup of professionals in the industry to expand a current work in progress! I’ll be expanding my project “Thought & Memory” under the fellowship. Looking forward to some amazing opportunities to work with talented filmmakers and professionals. Thank you @lonepeakfilmfest for the superb opportunity!

Gorgeous trip to WA with the fam! Visited Des Moines and Long Beach at Cedar to Surf campground, as well as some smaller towns around Tacoma.

Despite the blistering Pacific winds and rain keeping us in the cozy camper, ‘twas a wonderful time! Now back to the Bozone 🏔️ ✈️ 😁 taken in Long Beach, Washington by @flytyer97
