People will always have something to say about New Jersey. The taxes. The traffic. The crowds. The potholes. The winters.

But for me? There’s nowhere else I’d rather call home.

This is where I spent summers crabbing off the pier with my grandma, learned to surf, and spent endless days boogie boarding with my mom. It’s where I met my husband, where we got engaged, and where I built a life I love.

Ironically, it’s also the place I couldn’t wait to leave at 17 and the place I couldn’t wait to come back to after traveling the world at 27.

Home isn’t just where you live. It’s where your memories are woven into every beach, every back road, every sunrise, and every season. While summer here is hard to beat, there’s also something magical about spring mornings, crisp fall evenings, and even sitting at the inlet in my car in the middle of winter with a book.

We all have our own reasons for loving the place we call home. If this resonates with you, the Jersey Shore has a piece of your heart too. 🤍

Comment “SUMMER” and I’ll send you my complete Jersey Shore summer guide with all of my favorite restaurants, hidden gems, and local spots.

Enjoy your August all!
🫶 Julie
