Grannie thank you thank you thank you thank you I’m so thankful and grateful for you. You were My Grandma, my Mother, my Bestfriend, my love, my history book, my teacher, the apple of my eyes. When I was born you came to PuertoRico to meet me and every birthday you would call me and tell me the day weather and time I was born. Growing up in your house you always left the front door cracked open so anyone could walk in and be sheltered, fed, consoled, and loved. The neighborhood loves you so much and till this day asks how you’re doing. Your impact was tremendous, the most intuitive person I know. 1000 Trinity Ave Apt 5E are my most cherished memories, with you Grandpa JoJo ChuChu…When you moved to Florida I missed you so much I went to live with you and you took care of me so good I was just an immature kid. You were proud of all my achievements called me everyday to see what’s going on. The day the baby was born you called every 30 minutes to see if she was here yet when she was finally born you were the first person I FaceTimed. Arya gained another Angel and I know you’re going to work your magic up in Heaven. Give a kiss to my dad cause I miss him so much. You’re with Abuelo , Mama , Baby Cartagena , Lela, and Lelo now. I’m heartbroken but not defeated you raised strong Men and through faith I’ll figure out how to keep going. Today Mi Abuelo passed away and made his journey to rejoin my Father in Heaven. Ernesto Delgado, came from Cuba and worked hard to provide a good life for his entire family. Grandpa was a Baker but most importantly a Teacher. He loved and taught me so much that I’ll continue to incorporate into my life. Praying his Journey is a Peaceful one.
