FM got 4th at the Toronto Major yesterday!! 🙌 It feels so great to be back out there and we had so much fun competing. Here’s how our day went:

In the morning we finished 4-1 in pool play with a close win over @paradox_roundnet to grab the #9 seed heading into bracket. R32 was one very fun game against @williamgarant / @theofremguil, into an R16 matchup against @nickwideman_roundnet / Will Ries.

In the quarterfinals we faced @rogue_roundnet in a sick series with many rallies and touches on both sides. We lost game 1 21-13 but felt super strong about our level of play, and battled back to win games 2 & 3, 21-18 21-14. We both felt it was one of if not the most fun series we had ever played, and can’t wait to share the highlights.

In the semifinals we fell in two games to a very strong & clean @paradox_roundnet who played great ball all day. We then played 1 game for 3rd place against @etienne_roundnet & @jer_gagnon. By the end of it, the many rallies in that game had all 4 of us wishing we played a series instead 🤣

Our Toronto highlight vid is live on YouTube along with all full game footage from this weekend, link in bio. More highlights to come this week. Thanks @ontarioroundnet @mississaugaroundnet and @northamericantourseries for hosting and organizing! Next stop for FM: NATS Boston on 6/20 🤗🤗

F/M

Tune back in… they’re back!!!!

Finocchi/Model is back and looks to be better than ever. Gabe Finocchi is a world-class talent that has been dominating the scene since 2020. He’s racked up quite the resume: 2x World Champion, 2x National Champion and STS Champion. Pair that up with Max Model, one of the more OG players still competing, and we’re all in for a treat. Max is returning from his second long break from injury. Model fights hard, no ball is safe until it’s hit the ground. F/M enters the North American Tour Series a fan favorite and hopes to kick it off right in Atlanta.

“We really just have so much fun playing tournaments together and competing at a high level, and are really looking forward to sharing that joy again and making exciting plays throughout the day.” - Max Model by @fm_roundnet
