Last night I had the opportunity to sit on the panel at Next To Blow x Major Record Labels, representing VPR Radio, DJ FMi, YNVS DJs & FMG Multimedia Group. ๐ŸŽค๐Ÿ’ผ Itโ€™s bigger than just being in the room โ€” itโ€™s about creating opportunities, connecting with talent, and helping artists take the next step in their careers. I had the chance to connect with some of the artists, hear what theyโ€™re bringing to the table, and help award the winner with radio spins, a sit-down interview on VPR Radio, and an industry placement. ๐Ÿš€ At FMG Multimedia, weโ€™re focused on building relationships, creating platforms, and putting the right talent in position to win. If youโ€™re an independent artist looking to expand your reach, build your brand, and explore new opportunities, letโ€™s connect. The goal is bigger than exposure. Itโ€™s about building real connections and creating real opportunities. ๐Ÿ“ป VPR Radio ๐ŸŽง DJ FMi | YNVS DJs ๐Ÿ’ผ FMG Multimedia Group Artists, whatโ€™s the next move for your career? ๐ŸŽธ๐Ÿ—ฟ Caribbean people listen to ROCK too?! On this episode of ON TILT, DJ F.M.i and DJ Andre Jones get into a conversation about DJing an alternative rock event, some of the records played, and the different crowds you have to understand as a DJ. Because letโ€™s be realโ€ฆ Caribbean people listen to rock music too. ๐Ÿ‘€ As DJs, weโ€™re constantly reminded that you canโ€™t always put people in a box based on where theyโ€™re from or what you THINK they want to hear. ๐ŸŽง DJs โ€” whatโ€™s the most unexpected crowd youโ€™ve had to DJ for? And what song had you surprised when the whole room knew the words? ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿพ Drop your stories in the comments. Watch the full ON TILT interview with DJ Andre Jones on YouTube. by @fmgmultimedia

๐ŸŽ™๏ธ ON TILT PODCAST DJ Andre Jones talks about one of the frustrations a lot of DJs experience but donโ€™t always say out loudโ€ฆ Sometimes clubs already have a sound picked out for you before you even touch the decks โ€” based on how you look. You might be capable of playing multiple genres, reading any crowd, and adapting to the roomโ€ฆ but the booking comes with assumptions. So letโ€™s talk about it ๐Ÿ‘€ DJs โ€” have you ever been booked (or NOT booked) because of the way you look, instead of what you can actually do behind the decks? And on the flip sideโ€ฆ should a club be able to book a DJ specifically for a certain sound and expect them to stay in that lane? ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿฝ Letโ€™s hear it in the comments. DJs only โ€” whatโ€™s your experience? Full episode of ON TILT with DJ Andre Jones on YouTube. by @fmgmultimedia
๐ŸŽ™๏ธ OFF THE DECK โ€” EP. 2 This clip right hereโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ”ฅ DJ Andre Jones breaks down one of those things every DJ learns eventually โ€” you better know what gets the Latina women moving. ๐Ÿ˜‚ But thatโ€™s just ONE part of the conversation. We got into DJ culture, reading the room, the evolution of the DJ, some of Andreโ€™s career highlights, and the things young DJs need to understand if theyโ€™re serious about this. ๐Ÿ‘€ If this clip got your attention, youโ€™re gonna want to watch the full conversation. ๐ŸŽฅ FULL EPISODE DROPS TONIGHT AT 8:30 PM ON YOUTUBE.
