3 weeks update ❤️ Thank you all so much for the love, prayers, and recommendations on our last post. We’ve taken in so much of it.

Our current routine looks like this: bathing with boiled red acalypha water twice a week, moisturizing with @amalbotanicals Miracle Moisturizing Cream with goat milk, lots of extra raw shea butter through the day, filing his nails every other day, and keeping him in 100% cotton.

His skin tone is getting so much more even, the itching is still our biggest hurdle, but his hair is growing back and he is THRIVING regardless. Trusting God with the rest 🙏🏾

7 Week Update 🤎- my son’s skin journey

We’re 7 weeks in since our first post, and I promised to keep you all updated. So here we go 🥹

Since the 3 week check-in, things have stayed pretty much the same in his routine:
- Bathing him in red acalypha water
- Amal Botanicals cream, multiple times in the day @amalbotanicals
-switched his clothing to 100% cotton only. @carters @walmartcanada @hm_kids @zara have a great collection.

The one new addition to his routine is the black soap. And honestly, since introducing it, we’ve noticed a significant decrease in his itching. It’s been such a relief to watch him more settled and comfortable.

Thank you to everyone who has been walking this journey with us. Your messages, tips, and encouragement have meant more than you know. We’re not there yet, but we’re getting there, and I’ll keep sharing every step 💛

What started as cradle cap turned into dry, flaky, itchy patches that spread down to his skin, and the itch has been rough on both our sleep.

We’ve tried it all so far: hydrocortisone, antifungal cream, shea butter, tallow balm from @basedsupplies , @larocheposay lipikar balm and wash, oat milk baths, breast milk baths, even cut cow’s milk out of my own diet. Some days it feels like we’re getting somewhere, other days we’re back to square one.

If your little one has gone through this — I need your secrets 🙏🏾 Drop what worked for you below ❤️
