The Serpent Mound is 1,384 feet and sits within an impact crater on a bluff about the Ohio State Creek. Most researchers agree this effigy was visited on a ceremonial basis and argue about whether it was built by The Fort Ancient people or The Adena. IMO, seems more like a Fort Ancient site that had been fixed or redone once a later culture rose. The low waters allowed for a stroll around the riverbed along with playing ispy for crayfish. So glad I got to visit this site when I was older. #serpentmound #archaeology by @fms_jpeg

As he takes his 71st trip around the sun, we celebrated together on Saturday and on Sunday I was blessed with the opportunity to take my dad on his first trip to the DIA in fifty-ish years. After being a vegan/vegetarian most of my life, I finally tried a burger for the first time (ever) at @burgerbattledet in Eastern Market. All very different and spectacular but @burgerfi showed me what I was missing out on. On our way out, had to stop @mitsosgreekfood for the crispiest cokes. by @fms_jpeg
