it’s my turn for a love letter to season 18 💌

my @puredanceacademy chatham crew babies. my whole heart wrapped up into 30 wonderful humans. the love and appreciation i have for you is endless. ♥️

to my sweet preteens, when i think about a group of humans just dancing because they absolutely LOVE it i see all of your faces. every time we are in the studio together you are my main reminder that we are all here because we love to dance, simple as that. thank you for always making me giggle, for reminding me that it can just be as simple as loving dance, and for all the small moments we shared in the studio in between. i love you!!

to my lil teens, you are all some of the hardest workers i know. no challenge is too big for you all and you tackle everything with the strength of a true team! your level of work ethic is unmatched and you were rewarded for that every step of the way this season (highest scoring pre-comp routine say WHAT). thank you for always forcing me to level up as a coach and making me better while being with you. i love you!!

& to my senior babies leaving me far too soon, 😭. claire, sadie, hayley, sophie, audrey, sienna, emma, nellie, colbie, scarlett, & charlie - you have made me nothing but PROUD. you handled everything that was thrown at you this season like absolute champions and were the true definition of the word teammates. seeing that happen in real time was worth more than any ribbon or award won on stage. please remember my door is always open, im only a text away, and im forever your biggest fan. the world is waiting for you and needs more good humans like you all. go show em what you got (but don’t forget about us down here). i love you all ALOT!!

day 30: (a day late but) this is 30 🩷

i got to celebrate the start of this new decade with some of my favourite humans in the world, doing what i love to do. i truly wasn’t on my phone very much and this was one of the only pictures I took, but it’s the best one.

to every single one of you that made some part of my day special, from the tiny human hugs to the cards and balloons, the incredibly kind and thoughtful messages and the rest of the surprises in between were all so appreciated. if the start of this new chapter is a glimpse into what’s coming, this is about to be the best one yet.

day 29: what this decade has taught me - when you think you have it all planned out, thank again. there is so much magic hidden in the unknown and those are some of the most beautiful moments. my 20s have been filled with highs, lows and everything in between - and im so grateful for everything. 🤍 by @fnhud96
