Gym Journal Week 1 ⚔️💚❤️

The girls put in the work, broke a sweat, and got after it all week. Just getting started.

We finished the week with a Zumba class — getting a good workout in while having some fun and building team chemistry along the way! 🕺

Back to work next week.

First day of the fall season in the books!

The girls battled through the heat and put in a lot of work. The coaching staff was impressed with the effort, energy, and overall performance from the team.

A great start to the fall season. We’re looking forward to what’s ahead. 💪🏼 #Day1 #FNUSoftball ⚔️ by @fnusoftball

Last but certainly not least, Welcome back, Coach P! There’s no better way to kick off another season than by welcoming back the leader of the Conquistadors! Hailing from Toronto, Canada, Coach Wesley Pollock enters his 5th year at the helm of FNU Softball.

With over a decade of coaching experience, Coach P brings a wealth of knowledge, a passion for developing athletes, and a proven track record of success. Before joining FNU, he coached at Ave Maria and led numerous successful Wildemere Wildfire travel teams. A former standout baseball player who competed in an independent minor league, Coach P brings a player’s perspective to everything he does.

Since taking over our program, Coach P has guided the team through four winning seasons, a 2024 NAIA Opening Round appearance, and back-to-back USCAA Small College World Series Runner-Up finishes in 2025 and 2026.

Five years in, Coach P continues to lead with passion, purpose, and a commitment to helping our athletes grow on and off the field. We’re excited for another season under his leadership. Let’s get to work, Coach P!

Welcome back, Coach Monica Eihardt! We’re excited to have Monica back for her second year with the Conquistador family! Hailing from Tampa, FL, but originally from Tucson, AZ, Monica plays an important role within our program, primarily leading the way in recruiting and helping bring the next generation of Conquistadors to FNU.

When she’s not on the recruiting trail, Monica can also be found helping coach and develop our developmental team. We’re so grateful to have her experience, energy, and dedication back for another season. Here’s to another great year, Coach Monica! ⚔️ by @fnusoftball

Welcome back, Alissia Vega! This year may look a little different for Alissia, but she’s still very much a part of the Conquistador family! Hailing from Tampa, Florida, Alissia will take on the role of Team Manager this fall while finishing up her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.

Once spring rolls around, Alissia will officially step into her new role as our Graduate Assistant while beginning her Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology! We’re so excited to watch Alissia continue to grow within our program and take the next step in her journey both on and off the field. Welcome back, Alissia!
