This morning @friendsofcodeysnola invites not one, but two of their restaurant entrepreneurs to be featured in a segment on @fox8nola.

The second segment highlights @sweetanonis, one of the five vendors joining the @chickenskitchen2 and @friendsofcodeysnola collaboration opening in Gretna on October 12. From private dining to a shared storefront experience, this business is helping others scale and thrive.

This dynamic chef duo will also be hosting “Cruising Around the World with @sweetanonis” on October 24 at @nochi_grams. This will be a seven course dining experience offering food and cocktail pairings and live entertainment.

This morning @friendsofcodeysnola is taking over the kitchen at @fox8nola to spotlight two restaurant entrepreneurs that will be debuting their first storefront pilot at The Coop & Friends. The new new location opening in Gretna on October 12 is a partnership between @chickenskitchen2 and @friendsofcodeysnola.

The initiative has been created to reduce the barrier between bootstraps and scaling to a brick and mortar. The partners are leveraging their resources to support the presence of new businesses and the vitality of the food economy. First up this morning is @lets_chop_it.

We’re building relationships that go beyond the ask.

We’re incredibly grateful to connect with the Boston Beer team and bring an exclusive pitch competition to the entrepreneurs of Friends of Codey’s.

Three of our tenants were selected to compete, with $10,000 going to the pitch winner and $1,000 to each of the other two finalists. And then the generosity kept going—the owner of Oceana Grill added another $1,000 to EACH contestant!
