Feeling blessed to experience the iconic 𝗗𝗵𝘂𝗻𝗼 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝗮 at Rash Yatra, Bhadrakali Mata Pujo in Nabadwip. It's an honour to be part of this revered tradition. When God calls, you answer. It's all part of a bigger plan. A memory to treasure forever.

It is a powerful display of devotion and sacrifice. A woman who has taken a vow performs the ritual, symbolizing immense faith. She is draped with dripping wet cotton saree from head to toe. The malshas or earthen bowls are carefully placed on her head and sometimes one on each of her outstretched hands. These are often stabilized with lumps of wet mud. Dhuno and jute sticks or coconut husk are placed inside the malshas or earthen bowls. The materials are lit on fire, causing the dhuno to burn and create a bright, intense flame and fragrant smoke.
