#DirtIQ is coming to the App Store in October.

It’s a mountain bike news app for iPhone. Every story from the sites, channels and podcasts worth following, in one place, once a day. You open it, you’re caught up, you’re out.

No feed to scroll forever. No ads against anyone’s work. Every story shows who wrote it and takes you to them.

It’s been in testing with riders for a few weeks and it’s nearly ready. I’ll post here when it’s live.

Repost @pedalabikeaway

You may have spotted the signs around the Cycle Centre… or maybe you’ve seen it pop up while ordering your limited edition FOD Fest T-shirt. Not ordered yours yet? You’ve got until Sunday!

There’s A LOT going on over the FOD Fest weekend… whip offs, bunny hops and track stand comps, kids treasure hunt, golden ticket prizes, lots of awesome stalls, and we are sure there will be many, many stickers!

Plus, Pedal Syndicate have got a massive demo bike line-up for those of you who fancy trying before you buy.

🚨 Saturday demos are SOLD OUT
⚠️ Sunday is nearly full!

Demo bikes must be pre-booked, so don’t leave it until you’re standing there on Saturday wondering why everyone else is riding shiny new bikes.

👉 Find out more: https://pedalabikeaway.co.uk/fod-fest-2026/
👕 Get your limited edition T-shirt: https://pedalabikeaway.co.uk/product/fod-fest-2026-t-shirt/
🚲 Book a demo bike: https://pedalsyndicate.co.uk/product/fod-fest-2026-bike-demo/

26th–27th September. Come for the bike-related fun. Stay for the chaos, stickers and entirely justified bike-related spending decisions!

Mountain biking has never been better covered. Or harder to keep up with.

So I built something to fix it. #DirtIQ reads 35 MTB sources overnight — news, YouTube and podcasts — and gives you one short briefing each morning of what actually mattered. Proper e-bike section, which as far as I know nothing else has. And the best bit: it ends. You get to the bottom and it tells you you're done.

I'm looking for 25 riders to test it before it goes anywhere near the App Store.

Free, no ads, nothing to fill in, iPhone only for now. You'd install it through TestFlight, use it for a week whenever you'd normally check MTB news, and tell me honestly what's wrong with it. Blunt is useful.

DM me if you fancy it and I'll send you the link 🤙

People keep asking why I feel so passionately about creating this app and it's simply because life is better shared.

If you've got a passion like mountain biking and no solid group to ride with regularly, it can feel isolating. This is why this app needs to come into the world, because mountain biking, like with any other sport, is better together. It's safer together and you actually enrich your life by sharing it with others by @fodmtb
