Friends of Figma Cyprus has a new visual identity 🌊☀️ This rebrand is deeply connected to the island itself: its history, colours, textures, and the feeling of Cyprus. 🟠 Our orange is not just a colour, it represents the material that gave Cyprus its name. Cyprus was once the world’s main source of copper, and even the Latin word cuprum (Cu) traces back to the island. 🌊 The turquoise tones come from the sea surrounding the island, especially the coast of Paphos, birthplace of Aphrodite. ⭕ The interlocking circle motif is inspired by the ancient mosaic floors of Roman Paphos. The repeating pattern symbolizes community, overlap, collaboration, and the way creative people connect through design. Welcome to the new chapter of Friends of Figma Cyprus 🧡🇨🇾 by @fof_cyprus

Config India 🇮🇳 The first Config in India. Three things I wrote down and kept: Be curious — be a beginner again. Go deep — the details are the work. Love what you make. In the age of AI, those are the three things that don’t automate. Friends of Figma Cyprus was here 💛 #ConfigIndia #Figma #FriendsOfFigma #FoFCyprus #DesignCommunity by @fof_cyprus

Dinner night before Config India 🇮🇳 Small tables, drinks, and a room full of community leaders from across India and beyond. Everyone meeting someone new. Config is coming up today ✨ #ConfigIndia #Figma #FriendsOfFigma #FoFCyprus #DesignCommunity by @fof_cyprus
Bengaluru, The Leela Palace, and a room full of Figma community leaders from across India and beyond here for the first Config that Figma has ever held in India. Today was the Leadership Collective: badges, an Expert Bar, and a lot of conversations about what it actually takes to build a design community. Thursday, the main event at BIEC. Flying in alone from a small island to represent Friends of Figma Cyprus, our chapter is one of the smallest here, and that turned out to be the most interesting thing about it. More to come 🇮🇳 #ConfigIndia #Figma #FriendsOfFigma #FoFCyprus #DesignCommunity Bengaluru by @fof_cyprus
