BD1, by Björn Dahlström. First drawn in 1993, BD1’s curved profile has often been likened to a comma – a simple, graphic gesture translated into three dimensions. There’s a reason for that graphic quality. Dahlström began his career in graphic design, and traces of that way of working with lines and shapes can still be found in his furniture. More than thirty years later, BD1 remains distinct in silhouette, generous to sit in, and not particularly interested in belonging to any one era. by @fogiacollection

Niche, by TAF Studio. Gabriella Lenke and Mattias Ståhlbom have a way of looking at familiar objects and giving them a slight shift. In Niche, a tailored, almost architectural outer form wraps around a much softer place to sit. The chair was originally developed with Fogia for the rounded alcoves of the restaurant at Nationalmuseum in Stockholm. Something of that original setting remains in its character. by @fogiacollection
