Category and Open Weight Champion at @ibjjf London Open!

This one felt extra special. I have been having a dry spell of consistent good results. Competed in the Europeans January 2025, lost and that made me stop competitions for a while to rethink things (never do that) competed again Master Europeans, April 2026 and once again lost.

Which made me really question things even though I have had over 9 years of competing, i was now doubting myself and my skills.

I know I will win and lose alot more, but the doubts are gone and you will only get better by doing more not by doing less. So win or lose, I will be here testing myself whenever possible and my body allows me.

I want to say thank you to everyone that have support me, by being there or even by sending a comforting message to wish me luck.
Want to say thank you to my academy @targetengland and all my teammates, you may be alone on the mat but you do not get there alone.

TALKING TECH- We have a long history of creating high impact events in tech and this event saw us working alongside the @aicollectiveco and @mongodb to bring Mongo.local to London.

PARIS DISCO EXTRAVAGANZA

Recreating the heyday of disco and glitter in Paris for a private party at Club Haussmann. We went back to the 70s with a giant disco ball ceiling installation, a disco ball and shimmer photo backdrop and pink and gold strobe lights. The night when EVERYTHING sparkled. When in doubt… add more glitter, sparkler cannons and another disco ball! Oh and keep the cocktails flowing 👌🏽 🎉 🎉

Many more wins will come and losses too, but if there is something Jiu Jitsu taught me is to never give up, keep on showing up, keep on wanting it, keep on trying and your progress becomes inevitable.

The knack to organising parties that pop - apart from the obvious organisation and creativity - is always look like you’re enjoying yourself.

You may have a million details running through your head and timings to adhere to, but the old adage “smile and wave” is crucial!

Never show the guests anything other than your ‘happy host’ face.

Making an event amazing is ALL in the little details 👌🏽
