He’s only 6. And today he surprised me. 🤍

There was a fall. A little comfort. A kiss.
And then he went straight back and tried again.

As parents, our first instinct is to protect our kids. And of course, safety comes first.

But we also have to trust them. Trust their abilities. Give them space to try, make mistakes and learn what their own body can do.

Because falling is part of learning too.

Today Nick made such a big step forward, and I think part of that came from giving him the space to figure things out for himself.

Not every risk is worth taking.
But growth rarely happens without a little courage. 🤍

So proud of you, Nick.
