Hearing God’s voice is the most important thing after giving your life to Jesus. With the level of deception there is in this world, IT is a non-negotiable.

I want to invite YOU to join me in church this Sunday @petracc_lekki as we talk about “Tuning In”. It will not just bless you, it will change your life.

See you by 8am or 10:15am

I honestly think micro influencers are some of the most underestimated people in marketing.

A lot of brands still look at them and immediately think, “the audience is too small,” especially when they compare them to creators with millions of followers. But the funny thing is, some of the highest-converting campaigns I’ve seen didn’t come from the biggest names at all, they came from creators whose audiences actually listened to them.

Micro influencers, usually within the 10K–100K follower range, still feel close to their audience. People don’t just watch them, they interact with them. They ask questions, wait for responses, trust recommendations, and in many cases, see them as people “like them,” not celebrities existing in another world.
That difference is bigger than most brands realise.

I recently stumbled on some micro influencers who were remodeling their homes and I can honestly tell you for free that I took down the numbers of some of the vendors they worked with because I liked what I saw.
That right there is the magic.

With micro influencers, it doesn’t always feel like an ad. It feels more like:
“Hey guys, I used this, don’t stress yourself too much trying to find a good one, just use this too.”

And guess what? We believe them.
Btw, the product I posted is one I love very much!

People are naturally more receptive when the recommendation feels personal, casual, and believable.

The comments change from:
“Nice ad.”

To:
“Have you actually used this?”
“Is it good for oily skin?”
“Where did you get it?”
“Please link it.”

That’s not passive engagement anymore. That’s buying behaviour starting to happen in real time.

Sometimes, you don’t need the whole country to see your product, you just need the right 5,000 people to care enough to act.

That’s where micro influencers shine.

There was a time in my life when everything felt like it was falling apart at once.

I lost my baby… and not long after, I lost my job.
All within the space of about two weeks.

I don’t think anything prepares you for that kind of moment. It’s the kind that shakes you deeply, that makes you question everything - your strength, your direction, even your ability to keep going.

If I’m being honest, I almost lost my mind. Thank God for keeping me!
Crazy thing is that life doesn’t pause because you’re hurting, so I knew I had to move forward, even if I didn’t know how.

At that time, I had to confront something about myself that I had always quietly avoided - I had never been a courageous person.

I was comfortable being “number two.” I liked structure. I liked knowing there was someone ahead making the big decisions. It’s part of why I loved being an employee… and to be honest, I still do…🫢

But now, my reality didn’t fit into that structure anymore. I needed time to heal. I needed to process. I needed to prepare my heart and body for another child, and that kind of journey doesn’t always align with the pace and expectations of the corporate world I so desired.

So I was faced with hard decisions.

Starting my own company crossed my mind… but doubt came with it.
I questioned everything.
Do I even have enough value to offer?
Can I actually build something from scratch?
Am I even capable of leading anything?

Thankfully, I got a push, so I registered my company.
And then came another step that felt small on the outside, but was huge for me.

I came online and announced it.

It’s been about two years since, and I am excited about Hikari Management Consults and super proud of all we’ve done so far.
What if I didn’t take that step?

I have now realized that I actually have so much to give, and I’ve learnt that courage is not something you suddenly “have”, it’s something you grow into… one step at a time.

So if you’re in a place where everything feels uncertain, or you feel like you don’t have enough yet to start, I want you to know that your “little” is already enough, you just need to mix it with courage.

Save this to read again & share with someone who needs it. taken in Times Square, New York City by @folabulous

When I looked at this photo, I paused for a bit.

Because there was a time I would have said no to this moment.

People often assume I’m naturally confident, outspoken, and comfortable in spaces like this.
And yes, I am expressive… but what many people actually don’t know is that I used to be extremely nervous speaking in public.

Like proper shaking, heart palpitations, voice-trembling nervous. If you like don’t believe me 😂😂

I remember being so afraid of getting on stage that I would rather avoid it completely and pretend to give other people the opportunity.

But I’ve learned overtime that courage doesn’t come all at once.

It builds Quietly, Gradually, Through doing.

How?

By saying yes when you’re unsure.
By showing up even when you don’t feel ready.
By choosing growth over comfort again and again.

Looking at the photo made me realise how far I’ve come.

The same opportunities I once avoided, I now embrace, not because the fear magically disappeared, but because I kept showing up anyway.

I’ve also learned that growth is not just about confidence, it’s about preparation and development - doing the work behind the scenes so that when the moment comes, you can show up well.

Courage grows.
Confidence follows.
But showing up consistently and saying yes to opportunity, is what changes everything.

If you are great at public speaking please give someone a tip in the comments. taken in Victoria Island, Lagos by @folabulous
