She is not defined by the calm, but by how she walks through the storm. A strong woman is not one who has never felt pain, but one who has faced neglect, endured heartache, and stood alone in the silence, yet still chose to rise.

Every scar she carries is a reminder of all she've been through that could’ve broken her—but didn’t. But she still stands. Still speaks. Still dares to love and dream.

When life also tried to quiet her spirit, she roared. When the world pushed her down, she rose higher, burning brighter. Her strength is not in pretending everything is fine, it’s in her honesty, her vulnerability, and her refusal to give up.

She is not perfect, but she is powerful. Not unshaken, but unbreakable. And in every storm she faces, she finds herself becoming more of the woman she was always meant to be.

And SHE IS ME!

Thanks to Jolomi Photography for choosing to celebrate me.
God bless you abundantly for capturing this moment of life.
I really appreciate it 🙏

Guys, if you need a calm photographer who understands the assignment, then Jolomi Photography is the right place to be.
I can guarantee you of good qualities and swift delivery ♥️ by @folakemi_annie

2016 taught me how to stand strong for myself though it wasn't easy, it also opened my eyes to see how much help and comfort people needed in this world.

It taught me how to face my pain and heal, without running away.
It also taught me that life is not a bed of roses so this reality hit me hard and placed in a reminder to be kind to humans and most especially the less privileged around me.
And to also embrace every opportunity that comes my way.

I never for once thought of losing my parent same year!
I never thought of strangers paying my bills 'cos I felt I had my mum and dad!
I never thought I'd call for my mum, and no one would answer.
I never thought I'd walk into the house, with no-one to welcome me back home.

Strangers (non family) sent me money and gifts at periods I never expected any!
They made me see how much love I can get even at a point when I thought my world had already fallen apart!
They made me believe so much in myself again!
They showered me with love and weren't scared of showing it.

This made me made the decision of making this world a better place for the less privileged to live in and make them feel loved even when they feel so unloved! Not just making them feel loved, but loving them genuinely, as they have no one who can feed them with that genuine love!

And which lead me into the reality that we can lift up their hope and make them shine in a world where no one even themselves never thought of accomplishing great things!

And I pray God keeps providing for us all in order to fulfill our promises of love to these ones!

Amen!

Show love to someone today!
Be the reason someone smiles today!
Be a shoulder to someone today!

I call you blessed!
