i just covered the chicago premiere of "chronovisor" for my blog: an experimental vatican conspiracy thriller from @ghopperfilm and @thecosmicsalon, screened as the capstone of @misterminsoo's inaugural @toneglow film festival. the feature-length movie is an ambient, unapologetically intellectual dirge through the masochistic nature of academic research, and culminates in truly unforgettable religious ecstasy borne from communing with the sublime weight of human history. this film has everything from analog time travel technology to stylish polyglot professors, and is absolutely deserving of consideration as one of the best original films of the decade. read my full review of "chronovisor" at the link in bio, and keep an eye out for more screenings on the festival circuit soon! by @foldyrhands

happy may crowning day! the transcript of my lecture given at @ascensionchicago as part of our spring faith formation series is now on my substack. it was an honor to be a part of this series of lectures entitled "resurrection: what we have seen and heard and touched" - and to bring together my expertise in fragrance and my catholic anglican faith. i've been reflecting on how lucky i am to have found my church community on the one year anniversary of my baptism, and i'm grateful to be able to worship in a place where i can engage my critical and artistic practice - teaching and learning from a wide group of friends and like-minded intellectuals. the link is in my bio, and the lord is risen indeed! 🌷🕯️ by @foldyrhands
