@garminrunning Half Marathon Durham - 2:21:43 (a 3 min and 46 sec PR!!🤩)

What can I say about this race?! It was truly so much fun and so memorable.🥹 On Thursday we had the Garmin Expo and shakeout run with @crunkrunclub which was the perfect start to the weekend. 🏃‍♀️ After that we loaded up on carbs at Olive Garden because who doesn’t love their breadsticks?🍝 Come Saturday morning I was running on 2 1/2 hours of sleep (race nerves idk) and was anxious over the potential for heavy rain during the entire race. It all worked out though! Barely any rain during the race and another PR.🥰 I loved getting to meet so many people on and off the course this weekend! There is really nothing like the running community.🫶 Wishing I could relive it again!

Second half marathon done!!🏃‍♀️ Chip time was 2:25:29 (7 min and 20 sec PR)!🤩 The @savwomenshalf was an absolute beautiful course filled with so much energy. The humidity towards the end really got to me but we kept pushing for that PR! I think I may need to do this course again next year?? That’s how much I loved it.🥹🙈 Also can we take a moment for the medal because she’s gorgeous.😍🌸

Three months ago I hadn’t ran over 5 miles in probably 10 years. @alimaupin asked me to run a half marathon with her and I immediately said yes even though I was excited, nervous, anxious…all the things….but WE DID IT!! First 13.1 done.🥹✔️ Really wanted sub 2:30 but extremely happy and proud of finishing in 2:32:49 (we pushed through that ankle pain👊). Did I already sign up for another half marathon? Yup. Can’t wait for @savwomenshalf in April! Sub 2:30 here I come.🥳🏃‍♀️🫶 taken in Oak Island, North Carolina by @followtay
