The first proper pizza party in the new oven.

Dough went on in the morning, twelve balls, bulk rise until late afternoon. Bench outside by six, fire lit around five so the floor had time to come up to temperature.

Pizzas took about 90 seconds each. The trick I learned that night: turn at 30 seconds, not 60. Wait any longer and one side is done while the other is still pale.

It’s happening!

🏄‍♂️ A 7-day downwinder, connecting some of my favourite kite spots in Brazil.

📅 30 October – 6 November 2026
🌬️ 7 days · 7 spots · 340 km

After years of exploring the Brazilian coastline, I’ve put together a route combining some of the best spots I’ve discovered along the way.

📍The route:
30.10 Cumbuco → Taíba
31.10 Taíba → Baleia
01.11 Baleia → Ilha de Guajiru
02.11 Ilha de Guajiru → Preá
03.11 Preá→ Tatajuba
04.11 Tatajuba → Maceió
05.11 Maceió → Barra Grande

💰 €1,000 p.p. (Flights not included)

👥 Limited spots:
I’m keeping the group deliberately small and with mainly people I know, to make it a personal and fun experience, with cool people.

🔙 After the downwinder:
I’ll slowly make my way back up the coast and kite at some more epic spots. If you’re staying longer and want to join or see more, I’m happy to help with planning and logistics. This is separate from the downwinder and entirely on your own initiative and expense.

Testing the new board from @reedinkites, the SnackPack, now available at @versusshop.nl!

The SnackPack is a hybrid board, a twintip directional.

Conditions were far from ideal today, wind was too light, current too strong and kite too small, but for a hardcore twintip rider, I still had a lot of fun trying to catch some baby waves.

I noticed the board was light, very responsive, easy to handle, and it still had some pop.

I can see how this board will be super fun on those lightwind days with waves, or for the freeride/downwinders. I’d love to ride downwind in Brazil on this board!

A very special week.

Meeting my parents in Tarifa, who are here on a 3 month road trip all the way to Morocco.

Tarifa is a special place and one of the few places I’d like to call a home away from home for the past 5 years.

Tarifa, the most southern tip of western Europe and the meeting point of the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. From where you can see Africa across the Strait of Gibraltar.

Where the strong Levante or the cool Poniente wind blows. The Mecca of Kitesurf in Europe.

But also a lot of cool Roman/Moorish/Spanish heritage. The influences can still be found in the architecture, the life and the cuisine.

The winds, beaches, views, hot Andalusian sun, most delicious food mixed with the hippy surf/Kitesurf vibes made me fall in love with this place. I always say I came for the wind but stayed for the food. But it’s so much more than that. Now my parents understand why and experienced the same. taken in Tarifa, Spain by @followyarco

Adventures of the Fellowship of the Fate Mates - Edinbruuu edition 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Spent last weekend in Scotland with my twin brothers from another mother, my fellow fate mates @the_bly_ and @philiphebly.

Went for a crazy eMTB adventure @comriecroftbikes at this amazing site @comriecrofthq. High speed through some great challenging trails, we needed that battery for the multiple rides up and down.

After the activity we well relaxed at this little oasis on site @nowhere.sauna and drank some whiskey by the campfire, after enjoying some haggis, cullen skink and venison. Haggis is absolutely delicious by the way.

Next day we explored the Loch Lomond and Trossachs area and climbed the Ben A’an. Unfortunately not the best views but the typical Scottish weather created some mystical mountain mist which also added to the experience.

We made a scenic route back through the Three Lochs Forest drive and made sure to stop for some whiskey tasting @deanstonmalt distillery before heading back to Edinburgh.

What an amazingly beautiful city, an open air museum on its own, but unknowingly we also arrived at the time of the @edfringe , which turns the city into an open air theatre as well with lots of public performances on the streets and in clubs.

We couldn’t leave without climbing Arthur’s Seat to enjoy the magnificent views of the beautiful city, its volcanic surroundings and the seaside.

Scotland, you have it all! What an incredibly beautiful country, we’ll be back for sure.

Last weekend’s Packraft trip Müllerthal Le Sûre Luxemburg 🇱🇺 / Südeifel Sauer Germany 🇩🇪

Day 2:
Hike 19km from Dillingen 🇱🇺 to Wallendorf 🇩🇪 today on the German side of the Sûre / Sauer river in Südeifel National Park. So much more beautiful and quiet 🧘‍♂️
Raft 5km, the best reward for the heavy legs was to float back (easy paddle) on the lazy river to the base camp. taken in Deutschland-Luxemburg by @followyarco
