SWINE VIDEO PREMIERE: @altoaria new song "Stars Align" via @rhz000

On March 6th, Danish artist Alto Aria (Rhizome, Posh Isolation) follows up their latest album Ephemeral (2025) with a new single, "Stars Align", released on Copenhagen-based record label Rhizome. The song is an ode to the impermanence of #emotion and the euphoric moments that stretch into the #dark, clear night sky. It exposes the intrinsic #melancholia of time, embodied by those who dare to remain open-hearted.

Get to know @simonlittauer's new project #slopcore #ai • It's an artistic proposition for how music might be experienced and developed in a world where #streaming services do not merely distribute music, but become creative systems in their own right.

"I don’t think AI music is important for the world. It has had a huge impact on the music industry and other industries, though, such as the general entertainment industry. I guess we have not seen the full scale of it yet.

Slopcore.ai is an artistic experiment. I wanted to see if I could do something different and interesting with AI and music, while labeling it for what it is. It is a way to enjoy music, like any other release. But it is also interactive, and the concept is that it adapts to your taste. It is also a reflection on the current state of music streaming services, social media, AI slop, etc."

[SWINE REVIEW] • @w_e_d_d_i_n_g_cph might have just figured out the perfect formula for festival music.

Drums and pure rhythm are the soul of their new EP called Jobseeker. Don’t you believe me? Check out their videos from the @roskildefestival show. The 3-man band (Kristian Alexander Pedersen, Kristoffer Bech, Hasse Bruun Guiseppi) can create the atmosphere of a huge rave. After their debut (Sunshower) the trio moved from foggy, hypnotic, reverb-like, nonchalant 80’s vibe to a more straightforward sound. Jobseeker is brighter and faster from the last project. But on the other hand, their music still resembles the heavy emotional atmosphere of the #Copenhagen indie scene.

We had the pleasure on working on the heart wrenching album ‘TIME’ [re.core] by experimental Ukrainian duo ϙue x Comechelet which released back in December

The two artists merged on the second day of the invasion back in 2022 and started an artistic exchange which turned into ‘TIME’. The album is a post-ambient introspection on longing and loss, temporal distortion and the physical separation the artists and the people of Ukraine continue to endure due to the brutal invasion.

The album gained praise by numerous international media platforms such as @acloserlisten 🇨🇦 who ranked it one of the best Ukranian releases of 2024, by @ma3azef 🇯🇴 as a monthly topper, by @ninaprotocol 🇺🇸, @industrialcomplexx 🌏 and KALTBLUT Magazine 🇩🇪 who called the album “a testament to the strength and resilience of Ukrainian culture” (just to name a few)

Ukraine still suffers and we encourage everyone who can to contribute to fight against the violent regimes all over the world

German multidisciplinary art-pop artist @dvvvdvvv released her third album ‘STARVVING’ back in February 💫

‘STARVVING’ is a dark and ethereal album which delves deep into the struggles of being in a capitalist world. The album’s name plays on a dual-meaning: starving—hunger and longing for connection, and star-wing—an allusion to celestial beings, pop stars or a comet streaking across the sky ☄️

Inverted Audio 🇬🇧 experienced the album as “stepping into a parallel dimension”, METAL Magazine 🇪🇸 named it “a manifesto” in their review “The Soundtrack of a Collapse” and KALTBLUT Magazine 🇩🇪 picked the album as Sound of the Week when it released. We call it a damn good record, worthy of much more than a single listen through!
