Aufbau im Schalthaus!
Die letzten Vorbereitungen laufen im Dieselkraftwerk Cottbus für die Einzelausstellung „Fons Hickmann. Plakate von heute und davor“, die ab Samstag und bis zum 6. Dezember zu sehen sein wird.

In den Schalthäusern 1 und 2 stehen Fons Hickmanns Plakate aus den letzten drei Jahrzehnten im Mittelpunkt. Die Ausstellung zeigt, wie unterschiedlich das Medium gedacht und gestaltet werden kann, von seriellen Arbeiten und Triptychen bis hin zu freien und gesellschaftspolitischen Plakaten.

Am Freitagabend eröffnen wir die Ausstellung. Kommt vorbei und schaut euch die neuen Räume und Plakate als Erste an!

We are delighted to announce the third Hombroich: Raketenfestival, taking place on Sunday, 13th September, 2026, on the premises of the Raketenstation, Neuss, which is beautifully located between Düsseldorf and Köln.
Once again, the festival aims to provide a space for diverse, international, and contemporary approaches to electronic and experimental music.Building on the immense success of the first two events in 2022 and 2024 respectively, the upcoming Hombroich: Raketenfestival draws upon a wealth of impressions and shared experiences. However, this year’s festival will again embrace the artistic challenge of weaving a programme of varied format - including concerts, installations, exhibitions, and workshops - into a cohesive, progressive and enjoyable whole. Additionally, we are also pleased to announce a new collaboration with the Kunsthalle Düsseldorf, which is contributing an installation to the festival programme, as part of their project series „Kunsthalle unterwegs“ (Kunsthalle on the move).All artistic contributions to the festival will engage with the specific architectural and natural characteristics offered by this unique cultural site. As before, the experience of culture and nature at the Hombroich: Raketenfestival, is inextricably linked. The festival’s content is once again guided by the core vision of Karl-Heinrich Müller - founder of the Museumsinsel Hombroich and the Raketenstation Hombroich - who viewed the museum as an “open experiment in finding a new way of life through music and art.“ Bearing in mind the strong spirit of this principle and despite the multiple crises affecting nearly every aspect of our daily lives, the festival seeks to suggest perspectives on our present and future coexistence through innovative artistic contributions.
