We have two entrances: which one reigns supreme? You can come through our front door on 4th Avenue…but most customers prefer our East Entrance to the rear of the store for a reason. This entrance (between Hoff and 3rd) offers free customer parking with validation, a courtyard oasis in bloom, and an easy, direct walk back to your car. We also have covered bike parking! It’s a more relaxed, convenient, and safe way to begin and end your shopping trip. by @foodconspiracy

Co-ops build community! October is Co-op Month, and Equal Exchange is a great example of what that looks like in action. This popular brand sources coffee, cocoa, tea, bananas and avocados directly from small-scale, democratically organized farmer cooperatives. By doing this, they are putting more power into the hands of the people who grow our food.

Now’s a good time to stock up! Equal Exchange chocolate, tea and coffee are ALL on sale in our Co-op Deals flyer through October 20. by @foodconspiracy

Hope y’all are getting geared up for Spokes & Folks this Saturday! It’s looking to be a beautiful day for a community bike ride, and we’d love for you to join us!

We will be taking a beginner-friendly route led by @bicastucson, starting from the co-op and heading to beloved Himmel Park! After some snacks and picnicking we will head back to the co-op for more snacks, drinks, friends, and fun prizes! (But of course, you’ll be on wheels, so if you need to head elsewhere you’re golden! 🚲)

Plus, BICAS is providing a free Fix It station at the co-op beforehand so you can get small fixes & flats repaired & ride-ready! (*small fixes only, subject to mechanic time constraints)

RSVP for the event at the link in our bio! RSVPs are free, with a suggested donation of $10 to support BICAS. We will be accepting donations for BICAS at the co-op that day, as well as through their website always. 💕💪🚲

If you haven’t heard of BICAS, now’s your chance to connect with them and hear about the incredibly important things they do for our community!! taken in Food Conspiracy Co-op by @foodconspiracy

We’re celebrating Indigenous Peoples’ Day by highlighting the story of one of our favorite local suppliers, Ramona Farms! @teparybeans

If you haven’t tried tepary beans, you’re missing out on a delicious & fascinating heritage plant with a rich history in our region. Swipe to read how Ramona Button helped save the bavi, or tepary beans, from obscurity!

We’re proud to carry a wide selection of products from Ramona Farms- here’s just a few of our favorites. We are deeply grateful to share these products - they truly showcase the unique heritage of our region and of the O’dham community. 🧡🧡 taken in Food Conspiracy Co-op by @foodconspiracy

Love our Co-op? Bring a friend! October is Co-op Month, the perfect time to introduce new folks to our store!

Sometimes, all it takes is a simple “You should check this place out!” to make someone feel welcome.

Every new shopper helps strengthen our store and build a stronger future for our Co-op. We want to be here for generations to come, and growing our community is an important part of making that happen.

Not everyone knows what a co-op is or how it works, and visiting for the first time can feel a little intimidating if you’re not sure what to expect.

A Few Things Worth Sharing…

🛒 What is a Co-op?
It means we’re community-owned. It’s a business model where we are owned equally by our owners, not one individual or corporation. Power to the many, not the few.

🛒 Everyone is Welcome!
You don’t need to be an owner to shop here. Everyone is welcome and you can join anytime if you choose.

🛒 We Accept EBT
You can use your benefits when you shop with us.

🛒 Free Parking
We offer free customer parking behind the store, with access through our East Entrance (between Hoff Ave. and 3rd Ave). We are also conveniently located right next to a Sun Link stop!

🛒 Interested in Ownership?
October is a great time! We’re hosting an Owner Drive all month. New owners receive a $10 welcome coupon, a reusable Co-op bag, and an entry to win a $100 gift card. Plus, ownership shares are fully refundable. Just ask a cashier for more info!

How much do we love our co-op?
Let us count the ways….

Food grown close to home.
Farmers we know by name.
Neighbors at the register.
Local makers on the shelves.

People over profit.
Planet over margins.
Power to the many, not the few.

And maybe our favorite part? It’s ours.

We own it equally.
We shape it collectively.
Together, we decide what’s next.

A co-op means community-owned.
And, that’s what makes us different.
Because good things happen when we all have a seat at the table.

❤️ ❤️ Happy Co-op Month! ❤️ ❤️

Find us at 412 North 4th Avenue. Not an owner? No problem! Everyone is welcome to shop at the co-op, ownership is never required. Stop by, check us out, and if you’re inspired, October is a great month to join. We’re offering new owners a $10 welcome coupon, a co-op reusable bag and an entry to win a $100 gift card! by @foodconspiracy

October’s Round Up at the Register is for @youthontheirown!

Youth on their Own, or YOTO, is a dropout prevention program that supports the high school graduation and continued success of youth experiencing homelessness in Pima County. By focusing on financial assistance, basic human needs, and guidance, they have empowered and supported over 16,000 students since their beginnings in 1986.

Your round up helps support this amazing organization- thank you to our owners for voting for YOTO as one of our 2025 Cooperative Community Fund recipients! 💜 taken in Food Conspiracy Co-op by @foodconspiracy
