Small photo dump from my spring mountaineering adventure in the polish tatras. Spending a few days up in the mountain refuge secluded from civilization has been amazing and even though conditions were not the best, it rained a lot and we were soaked daily, we could still enjoy some technical climbs and the absolutely amazing scenery. Also one of the first times I got to see multiple avalanches just going off one after the other as well as a large scale rescue operation with helis, dogs and everything else taken in Morskie Oko by @fooldger

First time outdoor bouldering in Fontainebleau. What a treat. Loved the bouldering vibes and the quality of the rock 🪨. Can’t wait for the next trip taken in Fontainebleau, France by @fooldger

Since I broke a rib there’s not much we can do sports wise for a while so mostly hiking these days. Couple shots from a cute little hike out in Germany that we did today taken in Nationalpark Eifel by @fooldger

Day 16 of our month long trip to Sardinia
Went climbing near Masua. What an amazing crag right next to the sea. You would see some amazing scenery straight from the belay spot and on top of that you would look over your shoulder multiple times during the climb to be greeted by beautiful views of the rock meeting the sea
And we had a warm sunny day on top of that, so what more could you ask for

Lead a route marked as 5c which turned out to have a super difficult crux with an overhang and absolutely no holds to hand on to. I’d rate it 6a+ and have no clue whatsoever how I pulled the strength to finish it but I did and am super proud of that

Day 14 of our month long trip to Sardinia
Wanted to go do the gutturu xeu via ferrata however the rock ended up being so wet that we just ended up trekking around the mountains for the first half of the day

We then went back to the beach to be greeted by some really strong winds so went for a beautiful session, although short and brought Fulger along who wasn’t particularly excited to be in the wind but I’m sure it was really good for him too 🐱 taken in Località Gutturu Xeu, Iglesias by @fooldger

Days 11,12,23 of our month long trip to Sardinia were mostly about kiting

Wind is on and off but the weather is absolutely stunning with daily sun and warm temperatures which makes everything amazing
Went climbing again in the Domusnovas region to the same crag we went first time, we just had to go back and try a few new routes

Got my ass kicked by a 6a+ but all in all it was an amazing experience

As far as kiteboarding goes the flat water and light wind makes for amazing freestyle conditions as I managed to land my first blind judges for which I’m super stoked

Day 10 of our month long trip to Sardinia

Went for a morning hike through some wildlife areas and ended up on a beautiful beach with some amazing swell which we might surf some time 🏄‍♂️
What a hot sunny day it was as we ended up shedding all layers to try and still keep cool while hiking

We then went for an afternoon kite session which turned out to be just incredible. Great winds, very warm, super flat shallow water and a beautiful sunset to end it all.
It doesn’t really get better than this

Day 9 of our month long trip to Sardinia

Went out for an early morning hike near the capital of Cagliari which not only turned out to be filled with amazing views but we also saw some incredible climbing spots with seaside views which we look forward to returning to

We then quickly headed out inland to a small crag called Cuba near Quirra where we climbed for a couple of hours

I found it especially funny that the route that I couldn’t complete out of all routes that I attempted was a 5c+ called Cuba Libre which is also my favorite drink. Who knows maybe that just means we’ll have to go back someday and try it again

Day 8 of our month long trip to Sardinia.

Went out to visit the st giovanni cave and climb but weather was not on our side so we ended up just wandering about in the mountains near the cave. Got away from the trail and found our own spots to hike and see which rewarded us with some amazing views.
We saw some amazing climbing routes and will probably go back on a drier day

Day 6+7 we’re less eventful. Went for a quick kite session during lunch and mostly just got groceries and whatever we were lacking for our stay

First picture is from the local workout spot in our yard at the Airbnb we’re staying which is awesome because I can work out first thing in the morning when I wake up ❤️❤️

Tomorrow we’ve got plenty of wind coming our way so we’re likely going to be hitting the water again 🏄‍♂️ taken in Punta Trettu Kite Center Sardinia by @fooldger

Day 5 of our month long Sardinia trip
Went rock climbing today. Took a while to find the actual crag but after a quick and tough approach we discovered a beautiful crag in the sun but shaded by trees in the belay area
Spent around 5-6 hours at the crag climbing with other people and had an absolute blast at both Isola degli amici as well as Puerto Escondido crags. Will definitely go back and try out some of the other routes
