Hiiiiiii! Coming out of my posting recluse let you know I presented some art the other month at @_soft.edges :3 This one is called “Home Among Soil“ and I’m quite happy with it. It was great fun showing work and I hope it happens again sometime 💕 maybe I’ll post some of the other works too. Love you! by @foolishhoney

We are delighted to be showing the artworks of @foolishhoney at Soft Edges, for their debut exhibition ✨

Joshua Coles Braun, also known as Foolish Honey, is an artist of Scottish and Dutch ancestry from New Zealand, now based in Berlin.

Joshua’s curiosity is expansive, exploring painting, wearable sculpture, and performance art. Currently Joshua is occupied with the world of dreams and intuition, using subconscious movement to gather data before threading it into surreal and animalistic compositions. by @foolishhoney

Cold season snapshots 🍃🍃 Went away to the woods with some treasured friends for my birthday, painted some postcards, saw some beautiful art, cut some hair, saw spirits of cats in the snow, FaceTimed the real ones back home, and sketched a whole lot. Friendship and love is pretty good huh x by @foolishhoney

I had the privilege and pleasure of making my 30th revolution around our sun on the weekend. It’s been new to celebrate my birthday in winter as a proud summer baby, but a relief to welcome it in surrounded by friends, loves, and a forest in hibernation. Excited for where this year takes me. If January is an indicator of how it might unfold then I’m feel ready for more shared meals, rest, adventure, and open heartedness 🧚‍♂️🧚‍♂️ (photo taken by @max_lawrence._ during much much warmer times. I was definitely in either snow trousers or thick pullovers all weekend) taken in Berlin, Germany by @foolishhoney

May Roundup! Celebrated four year of gardening love with @max_lawrence._ this month 🥰 we celebrated with dancing, food, and seeing two inspirational artists (Salami Rose Joe Lewis and FKA Twigs). Max’s mum @lululovesmelbourne came to visit for a brief visit and we got hot pot. Dressed up and celebrated dear friend @monaroeschen ‘s 30th (I dressed like a poppy). Went to a lake, ate a lot of good food, enjoyed the sun more, and did some yoga! Also bought a bike, biked around town with @deliria3000 , saw theatre, met nice dogs 🥰 (also tried out sideburns. Not for me. Maybe another time)💕🧚‍♂️💕💕💕💕🧚‍♂️💕🧚‍♂️💕🧚‍♂️💕 taken in Berlin, Germany by @foolishhoney
