Introducing our next full length work, Big Low Dream by Jessie McCall ☁

Big Low Dream is a new contemporary dance work about what we reach for, together, in the dark. Choreographer Jessie McCall looks to dream logic - unruly, queer, ethically imaginative, as a way to hold onto meaning in a time of overlapping crises. Paradises slip their frames. Unexpected pleasures co-inhabit with the unthinkable. Spectacle flirts with collapse.

Ominous and funny, intimate and sweeping, Big Low Dream is a rehearsal of possible futures — tender, desperate, and rising.

Last month we said farewell to two very special people who have both left their own mark on Footnote, company dancers Cecilia Wilcox and Levi Siaosi.

From the moment she joined Footnote, Cecilia brought a thoughtful intelligence and sensitivity to the work, embodying choreography with both clarity and humanity.

Levi's meaningful commitment and generosity have been felt both on and off the stage, leaving an impact on our art and our community.

Thank you Levi and Cecilia for trusting Footnote to be part of your artistic journey. We are excited to see where your next chapter takes you.
