So many told me after my first baby: ‘Your body will never be the same.’ ‘You probably didn’t even have a big belly or a hard labor.’ 'it's your metabolism"(but my family genetics will argue with you)... and my favorite 'just wait until you have a second'.

Let me set the record straight: my first baby was 8 lbs. I gained more than the recommended weight. My labor was long and traumatic. I had three excruciatingly painful surgeries over a year and a half, plus other issues doctors told me to just live with. I refused to accept that. I fixed what I could and healed the rest through serious personally led physical therapy. That pain and challenge could have easily derailed me and might have set me back for years, but I refused to let it stop me.

Every day, even when time felt like it was running out as a single-sole parent, even when everything else needed to get done, I made the hard decisions. I put my nutrition first. I put my strength training first. I showed up for my body, even when it was fighting against me and even when I felt like s***. By putting myself first, I gave everyone else strongest version of me. When you show up for yourself, everyone around you benefits.

Sharing progress is not about showing off. It’s about consistency, discipline, and the quiet hard work that builds real strength. If this triggers you, maybe it’s because you haven’t yet reached your own version of potential. That’s not a criticism. It’s an invitation to step into the real hard work, day after day. One's own success only motivates others with good intentions.

Sometimes when people say we shouldn’t focus on our physical form, it can be their way of feeling okay with themselves while they work on things they haven’t changed yet. AND that is also okay and part of everyone's process, but it's not your final chapter. Remember, it's about strength and mobility, not how attractive we can look. Attractiveness is character.

a "diva", maybe... But a Hustla, definitely. Hustla:is an aggressively hard-working, resourceful person determined to succeed ✔️✔️ by @fopeetssake

I’m all about investing in things that last so the morning routine takes 5 minutes instead of 15.

I haven’t done any professional hair or skincare extras in almost a year, and I’ve loved keeping things low-maintenance. Finally got my hair trimmed and layered, and it looks AMAZING straight. Seriously, the best $25 spent. So excited about it that it deserves a selfie 👏
