Since I last posted I have moved into a new apartment with my partner. The new setup is coming along. I’m hoping to make tea more of a habit again. We found this dispenser in the alley at my old place; it’s silly but fun, we’ll see how it works. by @for__shou

After way too long away from the tea tray, I’m jumping back in with some Bitterleaf Alter Ego. This is my chosen fuel for recording a bootleg audiobook. 🤙 Had a lovely time seeing my tea friends at the @threeleggedcrowtea Temporary Teahouse popup yesterday. Hoping to fold this habit back into my routine as I continue to try to find balance. (I’m dating a Libra, so does that count? 😉) by @for__shou

It is go time, so I choose you, sheng puer! This “greatest hits” fell a bit flat for me. The tea was a bit too turbid and astringent for me. by @for__shou

Guess where I got to go ✨ I was in Austin flying in to spend time with my partner’s family and have a vacation in the hill country. West China Tea was definitely on my list of places I wanted to visit, and you can only imagine how fast my jaw dropped when I realized that we were just down the road! This is such a special community space, and it was such a joy to pop in even if only for an hour. 💕 taken in West China Tea by @for__shou

Found a super cute and very young business right off Halsted on Grace! You’ll find lots of tea options (pretty typical boba tea setup), sliding scale sweetness, homemade baked goods and handmade jewelry. If you love Gathers Tea but live on the north side, give this business some love! 💕 by @for__shou

Posting from inside my own glass house today.

I’m so glad I went for a cake of this tea, as now I see it’s sold out! But… I’m trying not to buy new tea until I’ve finished more of what I have. (But also, I’m still looking for a milk oolong source. 75g+ quantity please; it was my staple daily drinker in nursing school.) 🌚

I am a fool for a sweet shou and 2023 Glass House has a creamy sweetness that comes through even in the wash.

Trying to force myself to function through structure and routine. ✌️ Wish me luck! by @for__shou

My loves and my love’s loves and so on and so forth. Steeping a mystery tea ball and drinking from a silvered cup while packing for my first international trip in 14 years (half my life!)

Voy a la Ciudad de México este viernes con mi amor! Estoy muy emocianado!!!

Dragula and dark tea 🖤 Predawn Dark from #white2tea to be precise.

Had a wonderful long weekend bustling around the city and now it’s time to recenter before I work 12 and 16 hours over the next couple of days. 🤪 by @for__shou

One Turtle Dove … taking this white tea to go today, and bringing along my trusty teacup from @taoteaware so I can sip on the CTA without burning my tongue off. #white2tea by @for__shou
