Boat (n): A hole in the water where money is thrown in.

Kidding aside, boating and fishing is more than hobby, and it needs to be with the amount of commitment it takes. But, if you can swing it and you want it to fit into your life…just get the damn boat.

1️⃣ It is where core memories are made. On the water with friends or family is a recipe for life long stories.

2️⃣ It teaches discipline and how to work hard as a team to achieve a goal whether it’s cleaning after a fun day on the water, planning a fishing trip, or making sure everyone on board is having fun and is safe.

3️⃣ It puts into perspective how despite planning, experience, and skill, one needs to have faith, especially when offshore ✝️

4️⃣ It teaches that we need to respect nature. Take only what we need and a clean environment is good for our oceans and us.

5️⃣ It is a shit ton of fun!! A Sunday harbor cruise or a weekend of offshore fishing…nothing beats it!!

#flashbackfriday to the changing of the guard…nothing like that new to you boat feeling 🤙

Going from an old Wellcraft to a Regulator was a big change. 5 extra feet, 4 more cylinders, almost 4k more weight….game changer for sure 🙏

#history I grew up on that wellcraft, and she taught me so much about boating and gave me the fishing bug 🎣 Catching mangrove snapper, snook, Bonita….all core memories. That old boat has been around…her old stomping grounds was the Loxahatchee River and has gone out of the Jupiter Inlet, gone the intercostal to from Martin County to Ft Lauderdale. When we moved to SoCal she was trucked out here. In CA she lived in Dana then Newport Beach. She has even made trips to Catalina a handful of times….some memorable crossings for sure…some finishing with Sea Tow 🤣 She’s now living out her retirement in Canyon Lake.
