Our PUHI print takes its original inspiration from puhi paka, translating one of our most recognizable reef patterns into our version of an animal print for the local girl.

SHADES OF PUHI

When we choose colors from a Pantone book we look toward ocean, and test our choices against it.

This is an early Manini Shorts sampling of PUHI when we were searching to see which colors looked RIGHT. Taken into the water to study what the color does with depth, light and movement and to see whether or not it looked at home.
