Samia Al Sayed Omar‘s first solo exhibition in Dubai 🇦🇪

During Art Dubai 2026, Forat Gallery presents a focused exhibition of works by Kuwaiti artist Samia Al Sayed Omar, whose paintings move through memory, domestic space, displacement, and the interior emotional worlds carried by women across generations. Spanning works from 1990 to 2023, the presentation traces an artist deeply committed to preserving emotional memory and the lingering psychological textures of lived experience.

It’s an honor to stand beside the works of Bahraini pioneer artist Sameeha Rajab, which I had the privilege of facilitating the acquisition. One now hanging at the Sharjah Art Museum in the Barjeel wing, and the other at the Etihad Museum.
