⚠️ Viewers Discretion Is Advised March 19 2025 | Royal Gas Station 102nd Street and International Boulevard Oakland California. This is a throwback incident. Surveillance footage captured a late night shooting that took the life of 64 year old Army veteran Rodney Davis an innocent bystander and left 21 year old Tyja Braswell completely paralyzed. Video shows Braswell involved in a conflict inside the store crying out don’t shoot me before being hit. She made it outside and said I’m shot then was shot again. Investigators say 28 year old Stavon Moore was handed a gun by Tamia Foster and opened fire first. Braswell who was also armed returned fire. Davis from Ripon was struck in the head and killed while visiting his girlfriend. Updates: The Alameda County DA filed charges against all involved. Both Moore and Braswell face murder charges for Davis’s death plus attempted murder charges. Foster is charged with assault for supplying the firearm. Moore and Foster are currently held at Santa Rita Jail. Braswell remains in police custody receiving ongoing medical care at Highland Hospital. She suffered gunshot wounds to the chest stomach and spine which left her paralyzed from the incident.
