At the age of 18 I told myself “Keith you have to go to the next level as a musician”. Automatically doubt and fear tried to creep in because I thought I was so late in the game since all my friends around me had either been playing since they were kids, went to Stax music academy or Memphis jazz workshop. I knew it wasn’t gonna be easy but I was committed and determined to be great no matter what it looked like and I remember being in my room at my moms house watching and studying my favorite musicians such as Cory Henry, Robert Glasper, Terrance Martin, Stevie Wonder, Isaiah Sharkey, and Mono Neon just to name a few. Fast forward 8 years later I got to play on the same stage as my musical hero’s and mannn I definitely felt their greatness on stage! I’m just a kid from Memphis that can truly say I’ve accomplished something that I used to think was impossible so for all the dreamers out there that thinks it’s too late it’s not. I’m always reminded in my journey that the LORD may not come when you want him but he’s always right on time. Stay encouraged good people never give up and always remember be the best YOU that YOU can possibly be…

Them Memphis Boys ⛏️

Always knew my last name had greatness to it 😎

Got a chance to chop it up and meet one of my musical heroes 🙏🏽 @sharkey335

Quick story 😂 so look I’m walking out of the bluenote entrance after the show and heard someone to my right say hey great show man. Of course I say thank you and keep walking then as soon as I get to the van my bro @_strikerofficial was like aye bro that’s Isaiah I’m like what fr so I immediately speed walk back in the spot 🤣 and do a double take and boom it’s definitely him but he was such an open book to us very great guy and expressed how much he loved Memphis. I’m so glad he was able to catch our set 🙏🏽

BCB 🤘🏽🔥
