Meet your Foreign Browz team. Delivering you brows with intention. 🤍

Alyssa is the founder and owner of Foreign Browz. With 9 certifications and counting, she’s continued to invest in her craft by learning from some of the best artists around the world. She specializes in Nano Brows, Nano-Combo Brows, and Ombré Powder Brows, but is most known for her crispy, thin, airy hairstrokes. She’s trained hundreds of students and has successfully completed over a thousand services throughout her career. She’s a mom, a business owner, an educator, and someone who truly believes there’s always another level to reach.

Janiyah is a Junior Artist at Foreign Browz. She’s trained extensively alongside Alyssa to bring the same Foreign Browz standard and attention to detail to even more clients. She currently specializes in Ombré Powder Brows and Nano-Combo Brows and continues to perfect her craft with every set. Outside of brows, she’s also currently pursuing her nursing degree!

Together, we bring two artists, one standard, and a shared goal: to give every client brows that feel intentional, customized, and made for you. Whether you’re sitting in Alyssa’s chair or Janiyah’s, you can expect the same attention to detail, care, and commitment to making sure you leave feeling even more confident than when you walked in.

Nano brows aren’t always about creating a completely new brow. Sometimes we’re just adding what’s missing! That can look like a little more structure, fuller tails, and hairstrokes that blend right into what you naturally have. Ughh there’s NOTHING like seeing a client look in the mirror and immediately fall in love with her brows😍😩 These Ombré Brows gave her the extra definition she was looking for while still keeping everything soft and flattering to her natural features!

The brows will look more intense right after the appointment, then soften 40-60% as they heal over the next couple of weeks. What you see on day one is not the final healed result!

A lot of my clients don’t even realize they have a muscle pull until I show them. During mapping, I’ll sometimes record my client opening and closing their eyes or relaxing and activating their facial muscles so they can physically see what I’m seeing.

Because sometimes it’s not just the brows. One side of the face may naturally sit higher, one brow bone may be different, or certain muscles may pull one brow significantly higher than the other.

And I think educating your client on this is SO important. Instead of just saying, “That’s just how your face is,” I want you to understand exactly what I’m seeing, how it affects your mapping, and why I’m making certain adjustments.

We cannot change your facial structure or stop your muscles from moving. What we CAN do is strategically create balance between the brows to give the illusion of more symmetry while still respecting your natural anatomy.

Her natural brows, but make them better🥰🥰🥰

I wanted to keep this set really soft because she already had a good amount of natural brow hair. We kept her overall shape and added the Ombré shading to give her brows more definition and a cleaner, more finished look.

This is what I love about Ombré Brows. You can still see the natural brow hair underneath, but the added shading gives everything a more polished appearance without taking away from what she already has.

Fresh Ombré Brows will look darker at first, then soften as they heal and settle into the final color.

She had very little natural brow hair, but look at how much of a difference a little definition makes!!😍

For her Ombré Brows, we stayed within her natural brow shape and built the tattoo around what naturally suits her face. Since PMU is permanent, I never want to take the shape outside of where the natural brow belongs or make it look bigger than it needs to. The goal is for the brows to still look like they belong to you once they’re fully healed.

Ombré Brows heal into a soft, powdered effect. They’ll look darker right after the appointment, then gradually soften over the next couple of weeks as they heal.

Imagine being a newer PMU artist, listing 17 openings on your books and getting all 17 of those appointments filled before you even hit the middle of the month. 💕

This is a win that needed to be celebrated because Nya has put in so much work behind the scenes.

Being a junior artist at Foreign Browz isn’t easy. I won’t lie, I have high standards when it comes to putting permanent tattoos on clients’ faces. I’m constantly pushing my artists to improve, pay attention to the smallest details, and become better with every single client.

And Nya has handled her role with so much grace. She’s been open to feedback, continued learning, and trusted the process.

We knew the bookings would come, but seeing her fill her very first month, and seeing it happen this fast, made me SO proud. 🥹💕
