I had this crazy idea… create a dress out of tarot cards. After finishing the dress, I realized I had gone on a mini Fool’s Journey and everything I went through along the way was a metaphor for the tarot itself.

I started out as the Fool, full hope and optimism, gathering all of my tools like the Magician, putting my knowledge into order like the Priestess, setting up space in my home like the Empress, creating foundation and structure like the Hierophant and Emperor. The Chariot pushed me forward-focusing on my goals to complete it. While roadblocks came about along the way/balancing out my drive to keep going and taking breaks because of my sore neck like the Justice, letting go of perfectionism like the Hanged Man, and dealing with literal collapse of the dress like the Tower. The Sun was with me during the day, the Moon with me at night while I worked.

When I felt tired and frustrated, the golden Strength card sewn to my dress would catch my eye-all the cards that had become a piece of my art project were telling me a long, drawn out story that was moving, progressing.

This project the most meditative tarot experience I have ever had, and by the end, an entire story wrapped around me. I completed my journey with a trip to my favorite forest and became THE WORLD CARD.

The bottom line is just don’t hurt either one of these precious souls feelings. The Pisces is just too sensitive and you don’t want to be under the wrath of Scorpio.

I’ve got SO much love and passion for soooo many different things 😜My intense, action fire side is very different from my soft, dreamy water side!
I would love to hear about your Cancer/Aries placements! 😊
