Introducing the Forest City Collective: The Best Photos of 2025 Zine

A curated collection showcasing the incredible talent within our community. We had over 70 amazing photographers contribute which is crazy and truly speaks to the creativity in this group. This zine highlights the best work from across our entire community regardless of subject or location.

We’re selling these for $6 (at cost) because the goal is simple: create physical media that celebrates our artists and helps their work reach more eyes. If you’ve enjoyed being part of this community, we’d love your support.

📚 Now available at the link in bio or comment ZINE and I'll send you the link.

Thank you to everyone that participated. This project wouldn't exist without you, your support, and willingness to create alongside one another.

And please share with your friends.

Let's keep building!

Hey Cleveland — let’s reintroduce Forest City Collective.

We’re a photography community rooted in collaboration, not competition.

Created for local creatives of all levels — from street shooters to drone flyers, hobbyists to working pros.

I'm Matt and I started Forest City Collective in 2024 after 10 years living and shooting in Cleveland. Despite how much talent exists here, I couldn’t shake the feeling that Cleveland photographers were still operating in silos — no true sense of creative community.

So I set out to build one.

Inspired by the amazing Grind City Meet (@grindcitymeet) in Memphis, I launched Forest City Collective as a space for connection, support, and visibility.

Our free Discord has grown to over 250 members, and our in-person meetups are where the magic happens.

✅ Want in? it's easy.

Whether you’ve just picked up a camera or been shooting for years — you belong here.

Let’s make Cleveland’s photography scene thrive ⚡

📢 ANNOUNCING: Forest City Collective Best of 2026 Zine (Vol. 2)

Submissions are officially OPEN for our second annual community zine!

We're compiling one standout photo from every participating member to document the talent, growth, and creative vision inside our collective this year.

Eligibility: Open to all (free).
Limit: 1 photo per person (your strongest work from 2026).
Deadline: November 30.
Release: Print zines drop in December.

To keep this true to our mission, the zine will be sold again at cost. Last year this was around $6 with zero markup. This isn't about profit. It's about celebrating our printed work, keeping it accessible, and getting it into as many hands as possible.

There's zero requirement to buy a copy if you submit a photo, though I hope you'll want one to see the collective work in print.

Hit the link in our bio to access the submission form and lock in your page: https://forms.gle/LG9mLrh9HYWs2k5V7

Back at it for one of our favorite traditions of the year.

The annual Viaduct meetup is happening Sunday, September 27th at 7PM. We'll have a 98.7% full moon lighting up the sky, but that’s only half the show. Array of Light is returning to drop a heavy dose of fire for us to shoot. If you’ve come out for this in years past, you already know the energy is off the charts.

Put Casa La Luna into your GPS for the Viaduct and keep walking until you see the flames.

While Forest City Collective meetups are always free to attend, Array of Light is bringing serious skill and heat to make this happen. It's encouraged to throw them a tip on Venmo at the event for their time, art, and talents. Supporting the performers directly keeps the door open for us to keep collaborating with incredible local creatives and pull off unique events like this in the future.

Grab your camera and bring a friend.

The Details:
Date: Sunday, September 27th
Time: 7:00 PM
Location: The Viaduct (Put Casa La Luna in your GPS)
Free (Venmo tips for Array of Light highly encouraged)
